From the 1980 "Duke" tour, the first day of the London Lyceum performance, the live performance on May 6th was recorded in ultra-high quality pro shot video with the highest image quality ever. This is the definitive edition using a master that has received an A+ rating on an overseas Genesis specialty site. "Ultimate Lyceum" (Sirene), which appeared a few years ago, has been considered the best already released, but it is clear that this version is a younger generation, the image quality and image contours are sharper, and it is easy to see that the screen is tighter. It was originally edited and created with the official release in mind, but as a characteristic of video items from this era, there are some parts that are slightly hazy in the darker parts and parts covered with blue light, but the close-up and panoramic scenes of the stage with the light firmly on are stunningly beautiful, and you can fully feel the exceptional level of grade that convinces you of the master quality. As with all previously released works, the first half of Ripples is missing, but this part does not exist from the beginning. Phil's performance has a great presence, and there are plenty of instrumental highlights, so everyone's eyes will be glued to the screen with this high-quality performance. In particular, the scene where the twin drums explode after the drum duet from Duke's Travels to Duke's End is extremely powerful. You can also see the scene in the first half of Follow You, Follow Me where Tony loses sight of the composition before the solo. There is no better item to enjoy Genesis at this time, which combines detailed and complex performances with fun entertainment, so it is definitely good news for fans that a high-grade version of this definitive video has been released on DVD. As a bonus track, the ending of I Know What I Like and the full live video of The Knife at the end of the live performance on the 7th the next day are additionally recorded. This is the definitive title of this famous video that was not likely to exist. This is a must-have for all Genesis fans, with plenty of fun to enjoy over 2 hours and 21 minutes.
