Genesis Genesis/France 01.10.1973 Complete Multi-Cam Edition

This rare live performance from the Bataclan Theatre in Paris, France, on January 10th, a performance known as a rare professional shot from the 1973 "FOXTROT Tour," has been released on DVD from a recently unearthed, upgraded master. While this must-have Gabriel-era footage has been upgraded and distributed several times, this time, a new film has been unearthed by a local French national institute and leaked. Not only has the quality been improved, but the original length has been doubled to a whopping 67 minutes, including the completely unreleased "Watcher of the Skies." Despite some cuts between songs, the entire performance is presented here. This footage, from the French National Audiovisual Institute, which archives all of France's radio and television programs, has been meticulously edited for future release. Not only has it been lengthened, but it also features numerous alternate angles for the same scenes, and the audio has been re-edited using soundboard material. Not only is "Watcher of the Skies" being released for the first time, but "The Musical Box" and "The Return of the Giant Hogweed" are each approximately six minutes long, and "Supper's Ready" is over 13 minutes long, all recorded in the best quality of separate footage, making this a must-have collector's edition for fans.
