Contains two excellent sound sources from the release of "Nursery Cryme" in 1972. Disc 1 contains the Charleroi performance in Belgium on January 16th, and Disc 2 contains the Ravenna performance in Italy on April 15th, both of which are amazingly high-quality audience recordings. First up is the Belgian performance. This is the earliest existing recording of the Nursery Cryme tour, but the sound quality is as good as a line recording, and the sound is very close, so it's a great listen. (Recording time 51 minutes) This sound quality at this time can be called a miracle. It is valuable to be able to listen to Happy The Man, Stagnation, and Twilight Alehouse from early 1972, which are standard songs of the early stage, with this sound quality. The balance is also wonderful, and you can enjoy spectacular performances in The Musical Box and The Return Of The Giant Hogweed in the second half. The Ravenna performance includes The Knife and Going Out To Get You in addition to the Charleroi performance set. (Recording time: 68 minutes) This is also a stable high-quality audience recording, so you can enjoy the precious stage of this period with vivid sound. The highlight is Going Out To Get You, which was played in the encore, and it is a very valuable take as there are no excellent live takes of this period. This is a highly recommended title that is sure to become one of Genesis' representative records in the first half of 1972.
