Two Irish heroes, Gary Moore and Phil Lynott. The live album ``LONDON 1985 1ST NIGHT'', which depicts the precious co-starring live performance of the two men who have reunited, is a touching action that was made possible because it was Kinney's original cassette. However, I want to see them again because their performance and singing voices are so touching. So, please take a look at the TV programs that appeared in conjunction with the release of "OUT IN THE FIELDS". [ECT (UK) 10th May 1985] There are 6 programs included in this work. The first thing that appears is the "ECT" performance video that was broadcast on May 10, 1985. This is a live shot of "Out In The Fields" and "Military Man" being performed on a stage set that resembles a ruin, similar to the world view of the promotional video. The image and sound quality using the best existing masters is exactly the best quality of the official level, and you can enjoy a live show where both men stand side by side. Moreover, the performance was not mime, but a live performance by a complete full band. Since it is not a concert packed with fans, you cannot experience the excitement created by the passionate interaction with the audience like you can with a 2CD, but Phil's live voice flows into your ears with a perfect sound board. This is one of the greatest masterpieces in this work. [TOP OF THE POPS (UK) 23rd May 1985] From here, the mime appearance of the big hit single "OUT IN THE FIELDS" continues for 4 takes. First of all, the ``May 23'' appearance video of the treasure video source program ``TOP OF THE POPS''. The image quality here is comparable to ECT and there is no noise, so it is a quality that would not be strange even if it was included in the official DVD. Although it is a mime performed only by Gary and Phil, the mood of the “two-person song” is intense. The two of them, dressed in the familiar costumes from the single's artwork, carry a guitar and bass as they sing. Because the audio was recorded in a studio, it is a masterpiece that can be seen as a "vivid promo video." [RAZZMATAZZ (UK) 29th May 1985] The third is a video of their appearance on “RAZZMATAZZ” one week later. In addition to Gary and Phil, there will be a trio of drummer Charlie Morgan performing mime. Of course, since the audio is a studio recording, it doesn't matter what the organization or instruments are, but it's funny that Charlie's drum kit is strangely simple. It's also a song that is typical of those days, with the sloppy nature of TV stations. [TOP OF THE POPS (UK) 13th June 1985] ``13th June'' video of ``TOP OF THE POPS'' appearing again. Gary and Phil appear here, and their black costumes, which are completely different from their previous ones, are really cool! However, what is even more important is the number "5" that appears next to the artist's name. Actually, this is the ranking within the program. To begin with, ``TOP OF THE POPS'' is a program similar to ``The Best Ten'' in Japan, where rankings are determined. It was ranked 18th in the "May 10th" broadcast, but here it has risen to 5th place. Moreover, most of this program is pop music aimed at the general public, and hard rock music is rarely played. Among them, it reappeared in the top 10. "Out In The Fields" had penetrated even to the general public who don't normally listen to rock. And you can see the two of them overflowing with a sense of “we did it!” that it became such a hit. [RTL LUXEMBURG (DUTCH) 1985] "Out In The Fields" was a hit in the UK, but its momentum went beyond borders. This was an appearance on the Dutch TV program "RTL LUXEMBURG". Although the image quality is somewhat disappointing, the full band performs passionately on a stage emblazoned with the program logo. In addition, it was a hit that peaked at #2 on the charts in Sweden and Norway. Although the audio is a mime, it is a video that perfectly shows the momentary momentum of success throughout Europe. [ROCKPOP (GERMAN) 1985] The last one is the German TV program “ROCKPOP MUSIC HALL”. This is also a mime performance, but in addition to "Out In The Fields", "Military Man" will also be performed. The image quality of this program is also a bit poor, but that's just a matter of whether or not it can be used officially. It's a more than average professional shot, and the camera angle is perfect. The sound was also mastered and adjusted as much as possible. Thanks in part to the concert-style venue set-up, you can enjoy the sight of both men standing side by side in a scene similar to a real live performance. A number of masterpiece scenes that should have been officially archived. Unfortunately, in the current situation where even the real official video "EMERALD AISLES" has not been officially released on DVD, it is impossible to hope for it to be made official. This is a piece that allows you to collect such valuable professional shots at once. If you combine it with the reprint title "EMERALD AISLES" of the Japanese version laser disc, you can cover the existing co-starring professional shots of 1984 and 1985. The world of "OUT IN THE FIELDS" that Gary and Phil showed us at the end. Please enjoy it together with the 2CD. UK & European TV Appearances May & June 1985 (34:37) ECT (UK) 10th May 1985 1.
