Gary Moore's 2007 release of "CLOSE AS YOU GET," a classic packaged live performance of that time as a broadcast sound source of the highest quality, is now back in stock in response to fan requests. ! This 54-minute recording of the album's May 17th performance at Bush Hall in London is a must-listen for fans who love Gary's blues. If you haven't heard it yet, please don't miss out on this final arrival! After Gary released SCARS, which pursued Jimi Hendrix-like rock, in 2002, he accompanied WHITESNAKE to the "Monsters of Rock" tour the following year in 2003. Furthermore, in 2005, to commemorate the erection of a statue of Phil Lynott, he appeared at a live show in Dublin, Ireland with former THIN LIZZY members, and performed LIZZY numbers, giving him the opportunity to work in the hard rock field. There were many. However, in 2006, he returned to the blues with ``OLD NEW BALLADS BLUES'', and in 2007 with ``CLOSE AS YOU GET'', he explored and practiced deeper blues than ever before, and impressed his fans. In this work, the live performance held as a secret gig in London on May 17, 2007, four days before "CLOSE AS YOU GET" was released in the UK, is recorded in super high-quality stereo by the FM broadcast master. - Recorded using soundboard recording. This sound source includes everything that was aired, from the intro by the DJ during the radio broadcast. Of course, since it is a modern broadcast, there is no noise such as hiss like in the old air check sound source. The visibility and clarity are of course outstanding, and the sound, which was mixed with the premise of entertaining listeners, is both easy to listen to and powerful. There are some scenes where a radio MC is inserted in the middle, but it never overlaps with the songs or performances, allowing the listener to fully enjoy the finest sound that even has an official feel. Gary, who appeared after receiving a call from the venue host, said, ``If you don't mind, I'd like to play a lot of new songs, but is that okay?'' MC, and from the beginning of the show he played 6 songs in a row from ``CLOSE AS YOU GET''. The live performance starts with the first song on the album, “If The Devil Made Whiskey,” followed by “Hard Times,” which swings lightly, immediately immersing the listener in the musical sounds. On this “CLOSE AS YOU GET” tour, Brian Downey, an old friend from the THIN LIZZY era, continues to play drums from the previous year. Downey's play, which is familiar with the blues and shows good compatibility with Gary's play, adds further depth to the songs played. “Trouble At Home” is a performance that brings out the best of both, with its accumulated play and dark, shiny tone, and this is a great listening point of this sound source. The next song, Chuck Berry's cover ``Thirty Days'', takes a turn and becomes a light rock, entertaining the listener with a straightforward performance. I'm still amazed at the skill with which he can push and pull as seen in the four songs so far. "I Had A Dream", which is featured in between the radio DJ's MC, gives Gary's vocals and guitar a warm feel, and you can enjoy plenty of flavorful play. The long solo of the same song is a masterpiece and is a famous scene that all Gary fans should listen to. In the second half of the sound source, familiar standard songs appear. The famous songs “Still Got The Blues” and “Walking By Myself” will delight the listener. After the upbeat “The Blues Is Alright,” they played Delta Blues’ “Sundown” from their new album again. The live performance ends in a heartwarming mood with acoustic blues playing. From hard-taste plays to traditional slow blues, the selections from "CLOSE AS YOU GET" are a perfect mix of originals and covers, and are sure to please! The set, which mainly includes numbers from new releases, is very positive and feels like a response to Gary's "CLOSE AS YOU GET." In fact, Gary's blues guitar has greatly stepped up with this work and the following "BAD FOR YOU BABY", and the results were felt by everyone at the 2010 performance in Japan. This work, which allows you to enjoy “CLOSE AS YOU GET” live, which was very important for Gary, with the highest sound quality is a gem that many fans would like to listen to. If you don't have the main version, we highly recommend getting it with this final arrival! Live at Bush Hall, London, UK 17th May 2007 STEREO SBD 1. Radio Intro. 2. Concert Intro. 3.
