In his final years, Gary declared his return to Irish rock. Until the Japan & Korea tour in April, he played in a blues style, but in May, his friend Neil Carter, who was also "Hard Rockin' Gary," returned. He toured in an Irish rock style for about 25 shows until October. This work is an audience video of the final day, Gary's last live performance before his death, "October 30, 2010, Moscow." When you press the play button, the show begins with the opening song "Dunluce (Part 1)." The sound of Irish traditional music reverberating through the venue stirs your heart, and the show starts with the famous song "Over The Hills And Far Away." Gary plays a beautiful melody even when played flatly... I really, really wanted to see this live! The angle captures the entire stage, but the sense of stability is outstanding. With the beautiful quality of digital photography, you can enjoy the show that emerges vividly from the fantastic lighting. Although the video is of great quality, it is a pity that it is short with only four songs. However, those four songs are the best. "Over The Hills And Far Away" features Gary's biggest hit "Still Got The Blues". This is the last performance of this masterpiece, which even Eric Clapton covered after the news of Gary's death. There is no way that Gary himself thought "this is the last", but the guitar that is crying seems to pierce the heart more than ever. And the last number of the last concert of his life, "Parisienne Walkways"... This take... All kinds of memories... I'm stuck with words... I'm sorry... Please take a look at it and savor the feelings for Gary and his music. At the end of this work, we have included a bonus news video of Gary's arrival in Japan in 2010. At that time, a large eruption occurred in Eyjafjallajokull in Iceland. As a result, traffic in Europe was in chaos. This video is a news report announcing the arrival of the first flight, "JAL Flight 442 from Moscow," which resumed on April 20, and Gary is seen for just a moment as he gets off the plane. He is not being interviewed, but this nostalgic video brings back the anxious feelings I had at the time, wondering, "Will Gary be able to arrive?" and "Will it be canceled after 21 years?" The masterpiece "TOKYO 2010 FINAL NIGHT" records his last performance in Japan. This film digs deep into those memories and overflows with Gary's thoughts about his life and music. Even five years have passed since then, I still can't forget Gary. I dedicate this film to all of you who share this feeling. Live at Kremlin Palace, Moscow, Russia 30th October 2010 1.
