From Gary Moore's debut tour in August prior to the release of "CORRIDORS OF POWER", the reading festival in the summer of 1982, which was his first big stage performance, will be recorded for the first time with broadcast sound source and high-quality music. Introducing the first complete recorded version, which is a hybrid of high-quality audience sources. “WARM UP GIGS 1982”, which received great acclaim from fans immediately after its release the other day, was a warm-up live performance for the Reading Festival. This sound source is the culmination of the special 4 performances held in August 1982, and I declare that it is a song that Gary fans cannot miss! The 1982 Reading Festival was held for three days from August 27th to 29th, and Gary appeared on the 28th when IRON MAIDEN was the headliner (by the way, the following day on the 29th, Gary Burden (This is M.S.G., whom I hurriedly recalled). This live performance is on Disc 1 of "ULTIMATE MOORE 1982-1984", which has been well received by fans since its release in February of this year, and you can listen to the line source using the broadcast sound source. The very clear and stable sound of that one was impressive, but unfortunately it was an incomplete version of about 30 minutes, so I couldn't get to know the full story of the live performance. However, this time, we have obtained a 45-minute FM long version from overseas, including "End Of The World", "Rock'n Every Night", and "Back On The Street", which were missing in the previous release! By mixing these two types of broadcast sound sources with audience recordings that capture the same day's events with excellent perspective and realism, no one has ever heard this memorable 1982 Reading Festival. It has been recorded in the best possible way. From the opening to the beginning of "End Of The World", an audience source with excellent sound spread and presence is used (this audience tape is also a high-quality material discovered along with the FM long version, and is distributed among traders. (This is a clear departure from what is currently available.) From here on, the beginning of the live performance that flows to the line sound source of "End Of The World" and "Rock'n Every Night" on the same day, which will appear for the first time in Japan, should be overwhelmed with excitement and surprise even if you are not a fan. This long version is an excellent recording that is comparable to the previously released 30-minute version, and although the condition of the material is slightly inferior to the previously released version, the edge of the sound is clear, and I wonder why such a sound source has never been released before. The quality is so good that you wonder if it was buried there! As confirmed in "WARM UP GIGS 1982", the warm-up has been completed after the first gig on August 24th and two consecutive nights of live performances at the Marquee Club, and the band performed well even on the festival stage. He is showing off his performance. Frontman Charlie Huynh once again shows off his high-tension, husky voice, which is his specialty, and he sings dynamically on "End Of The World" and bouncily on "Rockin' Every Night," a song that perfectly matches the song. Let me do it. In particular, "Nuclear Attack", which was also sung in "DIRTY FINGERS", is worth listening to. Gary's guitar also makes a big statement on the big stage, and you can listen to a wild and dynamic play backed by the ironclad rhythm of Ian Paice and Neil Murray. Unfortunately, “Wishing Well”, in which Gary also performs vocals, is not a broadcast sound source, but this song is a take that condenses the fun of it because it was an audience recording! As the live performance entered its climax, the audience's reaction increased, and many fans who were entranced by the stage were singing along with Gary. A unique vibrato voice in the middle of the song? The audience who listens to it is a little listening place, and this is also interesting because it is an audience recording of an outdoor festival. Also, in the member introduction before “Dallas Warhead”, Gary also mentions that the day before was Neil Murray’s birthday, so don’t miss listening here. In the previous same day sound source, “White Knucles” could only be heard as an introduction to “Rockin’ And Rollin’”, but in this work you can check Gary’s solo play for more than 4 minutes. Of course, "Parisienne Walkways", which was missing at the beginning of the previous release, is also included here! "Back On The Streets," which flows like a medley from the same song, is also a line sound source that appears for the first time, and the approximately 57-minute live concludes with maximum excitement and excitement! After the Reading Festival ended, Charlie and Tommy Iyer, who had been helping the band, left the band, and from late November they embarked on a full-fledged UK tour with a lineup that included John Sloman and Don Airey, and the following year in 1983. We will be performing in Japan in January. This Reading Festival will be a live show that can be positioned as an important part of Gary's career, as it marks the transition from a formation that retains the vestiges of the former one-shot project "GARY MOORE AND FRIENDS" to a full-fledged solo band. Even avid Gary enthusiasts will be surprised by this item, saying, ``Gary's live sound source has finally come this far!'' This precious live performance, revived by making full use of three types of the finest materials, will allow all listeners to enjoy the fun and thrill of a collector's item. This is a long-awaited release that will make any Gary fan groan! Live at Reading Festival, England 28th August 1982 SBD/AUD(ORIGINAL MIX) 1. Intro.(Aud) 2. Majestuso E' Virtouso (Aud) 3.
