A great value stereo soundboard album coupling Gary Moore & DIO is back. This work is a two-disc set containing one performance of Gary and one performance of DIO each on one disc. All of them are the best soundboards from their heyday, and are classic recordings from long ago. However, it is not the broadcast from the 1980s, but an upgraded version that was rebroadcast by the BBC in the 2000s. Now, let's introduce each band's live performance. [Disc 1: GARY MOORE (March 16, 1983)] When you think of Gary in 1983, the official album "ROCKIN' EVERY NIGHT" from his first performance in Japan comes to mind, but this work was recorded on that album. A month and a half later. The members have changed a bit, and vocalist John Sloman has left...I thought it would be easy, but in the early Gary band, member changes were so detailed that many people couldn't grasp them. Isn't it? This is a good opportunity, so let's summarize a little. Speaking of Hard Rockin' Gary's big turning point, 1982 was when they signed a contract with VIRGIN Records and released "CORRIDORS OF POWER". The next turning point was the addition of his partner Neil Carter. If you try to organize the time... A: Tommy Eyer (Key) + Charlie Hearn (Vo) August 24-28, 1982: UK tour (4 performances) B: Don Airey (Key) + John Sloman (Vo) 1982 November 24th - January 15th, 1983: UK tour (15 shows + 1 show in Germany) January 22nd - February 1st, 1983: Japan tour (9 shows) C: Don Airey (Key) March 16, 1983 - May 23, 1983: European tour (9 performances) D: Neil Carter (Key) ・May 31, 1983 - July 19, 1983: North American tour (27 performances) *Rhythm section is complete Neil Murray (B) & Ian Paice (Dr). ...and it looks like this. Up until this point, they had been backed by the powerful rhythm section of Murray & Pace, formerly of WHITESNAKE, but after that, Murray and Pace left in that order. Little by little, the two giants of “Gary & Carter” are solidifying. Now, "before Carter", the above lineup "A" and "B" can be touched all at once with the remastered version of "ROCKIN' EVERY NIGHT". On the other hand, this work is a sound board that represents “C” that is not officially left. As you may have already guessed, this work is almost "ROCKIN' EVERY NIGHT without Slowman." Since G-FORCE, Gary has always had a full-time singer with him while showing his desire to sing, but now he has finally made up his mind. Moreover, this day was the first day of the “C” lineup. It is a standalone performance of vocalist “Gary Moore”. Of course, it's not just the songs that are filled with spirit. This album's highlights include "Cold Hearted," "Falling In Love With You," and "Hurricane," which you can't hear on "ROCKIN' EVERY NIGHT," but the biggest one is "Hurricane!" The tremendous ensemble of “Murray + Pace + Ailey” that goes wild with their fusion style is truly “COLOSSEUM III”. You can listen to the fierce battle with official quality sound! [Disc 2: DIO (October 5, 1984)] It has become long with only Gary, but DIO is not defeated either. This work is a representative soundboard of “THE LAST IN LINE TOUR 1984”, and its quality is correctly official grade. However, “THE LAST IN LINE TOUR 1984” is also a treasure trove of the best soundboards, so let’s organize it here. A: June 11, 1984 Pink Pop Festival → Selected as the official "THE LAST IN LINE" deluxe edition. B: Spokane performance on July 24, 1984 → Selected as the official single, "DEFINITIVE SPOKANE" is the definitive edition. C: Philadelphia performance on August 25, 1984 → Featured in the official video "Shocking Spectrum Live" and others. →“WE ROCK COMPLETE THE CD” is the definitive CD. D: Glasgow performance on September 23, 1984 → “AT GLASGOW APOLLO” is the definitive edition. E: October 5, 1984 Hammersmith performance → [This work] As mentioned above, five sound boards are known. Among them, "A: Pink Pop" and "D: Glasgow", which have been made official, are lacking in quality, but the remaining three "B, C, and E" are on par. In other words, this work is of far higher quality than the official version of Pink Pop, and is a gem among gems that is as good as the representative video ``Shocking Spectrum Live''. However, it is a treasure sound board that has not been used officially for a single song. Of course, the live content is “THE LAST IN LINE TOUR 1984” which is the peak of success in Ronnie James Dio’s entire life, and the ensemble is in great condition in the latter half of the tour, including Vivian Campbell. It is one of the peaks of the peaks...it is one of the peaks. The wind of "from HR to HM" was blowing through London in the early 1980s. This is a great value disc that features Gary Moore and DIO, who have been fully exposed to that tailwind, on an official soundboard. A fierce double live album that shines brightly in their career.
