Gary Moore of the "VICTIMS OF THE FUTURE" era, who completed his own hard rock style with his partner Neil Carter. A new excavation by the master of the original, who allows you to experience that crazy guitar on site. It will be released as a set of two performances. This work was recorded at the "May 24th/26th, 1984 Daily City Performance". It is a two-disc set with the best audience recordings on each disc. Even though he welcomed his partner Carter, the rhythm section was still in flux in 1984. The members were different due to slight differences in time. First, let's take a look at the overview of the activities at that time, including the collection. 1984 January 16th - February 17th: UK #1 (13 shows) ←※CHIPPENHAM 1984《January 30th "VICTIMS OF THE FUTURE" released》 February 24th - 29th: Japan (5 shows) ←※PRAY FOR VICTIMS etc. March 10th - 30th: Europe #1 (17 shows) ←※LUND 1984《Ian Paice - Bobby Chounard replaced》 May 8th - July 7th: North America (39 shows) ←★COCO★《Chouunard - Paul Thompson replaced》 August 15th - September 2nd: Europe #2 (6 shows) ←※MONSTERS OF ROCK 1984《November "Out In The Fields production》《Craig Gruber → Bob Daisley replacement》・December 12-20: UK #2 (5 performances) ←※EMERALD AISLES This is Gary Moore in 1984. In April, Ian Paice left to reorganize DEEEP PURPLE, and at the end of the year, Bob Daisley, who could be said to be the third fixed member, joined. The Daily City performance of this work is the "Craig Gruber / Bobby Chounard" formation in between. It was the 9th and 11th performances of the "North American" leg. At "Cow Palace", it was a three-night consecutive performance, and this work is also the first and third day (as an aside, the 1984 "North American" leg is actually the largest US tour in Gary's solo career. Even just the fact that it is the largest with just under 40 performances shows how much his life was European-oriented). This work, which vacuum-packs such a scene, is a superb masterpiece. This is the original master released by Taper himself, but the on core is really powerful, there is no sparse feeling, and it approaches Guigui. Furthermore, the air feeling is crystal clear and transparent, and the fine details are very vivid. In today's severe discrimination, the audience taste of the tone will not be overlooked, but it is a very thick sound that would have definitely been distributed as a sound board in the 1980s / 1990s. Moreover, that sound penetrates the entire two performances. In fact, the recording of "May 26th (DISC 2)" has a woman next to Taper screaming like crazy from start to finish, but the performance sound is so strong that it far overwhelms it. Of course, there is almost no close-up squeal on "May 24th (DISC 1)", making it an even more sound board-like live album. The thick sound depicts a stage where the two great hard-line masterpieces "CORRIDORS OF POWER" and "VICTIMS OF THE FUTURE" are condensed and reduced, and the stage tension is blown up. The "North American" leg is a short set with RUSH's opening act, and they pile up killer songs in the 50-minute time limit. In order to get a sense of the concentration, let's organize the set here. Dance of Fire (4 songs + α) Shapes of Things / Murder in the Skies / Victims of the Future / (So Far Away) Empty Rooms Others (4 songs) G-FORCE: White Knuckles (★) Great Ambition: Don't Take Me For A Loser (★) / End of the World / Rockin' Every Night *Note: The "★" mark is a limited song until this tour. ... and so on. Although the stage of 9 songs in one performance is indeed short, the tension that never breaks is amazing. Speaking of Gary in the hard rock era, his Irish route is also popular, but in this work he is "guitar crazy" itself. He fires off a ferocious machine gun and wails with spectacular choking and vibrato. It's a scorching live performance that makes you understand why there are enthusiasts who are obsessed with "before Out in the Fields". In addition to such a passionate performance, a big guest is waiting for "May 26th (DISC 2)". Neil Schon of JOURNEY appears at the last "Rockin' Every Night". You can enjoy a luxurious guitar hero battle. It was introduced by the Shades label because of the short set without rare songs and the screaming woman on "May 26th (DISC 2)", but the super hot live performance and superb sound packed into this work are definitely press class. This is a two-disc set that should be experienced by enthusiasts who have a keen eye for the essence. The best audience recording of the "May 24th/26th, 1984 Daily City performance". The original master released by Taper himself, the on core is really powerful. There is no sparse feeling and it comes close to you. It is a very thick sound that would have definitely been distributed as a sound board in the 1980s. Although it is a short set because it is an opening for RUSH, the tension is uninterrupted because it is short, and you can also enjoy a guest performance with Neal Schon on "May 26th (DISC 2)".
