FREHLEY'S COMET was just starting out, eagerly waiting for their debut. This recording details the history behind the band's history. This recording features the "March 8, 1985 Brooklyn performance." This is the legendary audience recording. FREHLEY'S COMET's history can be roughly divided into two periods: "Before their debut (1984/1985)" and "After their debut (1987/1988)," and this work is, of course, a record of the former. The masterpiece from their debut stage, "THE FIRST SHOW: S.I.R STUDIOS 1984," has been very well received, and this work is the second installment following that. First, let's take a bird's-eye view of their activities in the "before their debut" period and see where they fit in. 1984 {Early: FREHLEY'S COMET formed} {Spring: Demo recorded} November 30th: Showcase gig ← *S.I.R STUDIOS 1984 March 1-9, 1985: USA (7 performances) ←★COCO★ {May: Arthur Stead leaves → Summer: Rob Sabino joins} {Arthur Stead/Richie Scarlett leaves} {Autumn: Demo recording} This is FREHLEY'S COMET in 1984/1985. Only eight live performances were held, with "S.I.R. STUDIOS 1984" being Lee's premier showcase gig. In contrast, this work was the sixth concert in the "USA" after the year was revised. This vacuum-packed recording of such a show is a brilliantly clear and direct masterpiece. While it has long been called an audience recording, its core is dense, with no sense of distance, and even the finest details are vivid. While it's not flawless, with a slight over-peak, the directness of every note of every instrument is so clear and distinct that it's powerful enough to escape even the most ordinary soundboards, bringing even the most minute details right to your ears. Moreover, this album is the pinnacle of such a classic recording. It uses the best master provided by overseas researchers and has been meticulously mastered. Pitch and phase offsets have also been precisely corrected, making it an upgraded album that reproduces the original sound as accurately as possible. Its powerful and direct sound portrays a full show during their formative years, as they created new songs and refined their ensemble in preparation for their debut. Finally, let's compare it with their "pre-debut" masterpiece, "S.I.R STUDIOS 1984." 70s (4 songs) - KISS: Cold Gin / Deuce (★) - Solo Album: Rip It Out / New York Groove (★) - New Songs (4 songs + 5 songs) - Frehley's Comet: Dolls / Breakout / Stranger in a Strange Land (★) / We Got Your Rock - Other: Audio Video / Give It To Me Anyway / Animal / Back on the Streets (★) / Remember Me *Note: * indicates songs not included in the masterpiece "THE FIRST SHOW: S.I.R STUDIOS 1984." ...And so on. The greatest highlight of the "pre-debut" period is the rush of rare repertoire not heard anywhere else. In particular, "Back on the Streets," of which only a demo remains, is an incredibly delicious track that wasn't even included on "THE FIRST SHOW: S.I.R STUDIOS 1984." After completing their mini-tour of the US, the band continued to seek a contract, undergoing lineup changes and demo productions, remaining hidden until their 1987 record debut. This release captures the moments immediately preceding that. This live album offers a rare, never-ending live performance by the original members, delivered with ultra-direct sound. This cultural heritage album offers a firsthand experience of an often-overlooked, secretive period in Ace Frehley's life. It's a legendary audience recording of the "March 8, 1985 Brooklyn Concert." This top-of-the-line update, polished from the best masters provided by international researchers, delivers a dense core with a sense of distance, vividly capturing even the most minute details. This new masterpiece features a rush of rare tracks only available from the band's pre-debut era, including "Back on the Streets," a track not even included on their signature album, "The First Show: S.I.R. Studios 1984." L'Amour, Brooklyn, NY, USA 8th March 1985 TRULY PERFECT SOUND Disc:1 (49:43) 1. Rip It Out 2. Audio Video 3. Give It to Me Anyway 4. Dolls 5. Breakout 6. Cold Gin 7. Animal 8.
