Here is an extremely rare unearthed sound source of the blues king Freddie King, who spreads blues phrases that have fascinated even Clapton and others, and pulls funky bands into the groove. The Hamburg performance on October 19, 1975 is presented here in official quality with digital remastering of the soundboard sound source from the broadcast master source. More intense than B.B., more technical than Albert, and with Fender Rhodes floating around, Freddie's 335 sticks out. This is a live show at the peak of funky blues, which absorbed Atlantic's soul funk feeling, and the song "Have You Ever Loved A Woman", which is well known by Clapton, is the real thing.
