FOREIGNER appeared in Japan's historical festival in 1985 at its peak. The highest quality version of the official video will be released. The historic festival was held at Odaiba Sports Square from August 10th to 11th, 1985. Yes, this is a multi-camera professional shot taken when he appeared on “SUPER ROCK '85”. This festival was held following the success of "SUPER ROCK '84" the previous year, and EARTHSHAKER→STING→FOREIGNER→DIO→ROUGH CUTT→MAMAS BOYS (in order of appearance) participated. Although the order of appearances is quite strange, this festival is actually a 12-hour all-night event that starts at 6:30 p.m. The arrangement was for tri-class bands to gather around midnight. The rain kept coming and going at the site, and it is said to be a very muddy and harsh event. Also, FOREIGNER has visited Japan seven times since their first visit in 1978, and this time was at their peak. In order to understand the ultimate feeling, let's take a look back at the history of their visit to Japan. ・1978 (4 performances) "FOREIGNER" era ・1980 (7 performances) "HEAD GAMES" era ・1985 (1 performance) "AGENT PROVOCATEUR" era ←★This work★ ・1988 (6 performances) "INSIDE INFORMATION" ' Era - 1993 (4 performances) 'THE VERY BEST... AND BEYOND' era - 1995 (1 performance) 'MR. MOONLIGHT' era - 2007 (2 performances) After Kelly Hansen joined This is FOREIGNER's visit to Japan Whole history. This work came to Japan during the "AGENT PROVOCATEUR" era, but it was a one-time special performance rather than a tour around various places. This legendary festival was also officially filmed, and the digest version, DIO version, and FOREIGNER version of the 5 bands were released as video software. Unfortunately, none of the works have been officially released on DVD yet, but this work is the FOREIGNER version of such official footage. And what is noteworthy is its quality. At our store, we have reprinted various out-of-print analog videos in the highest quality ever, and this work is one of them. Mint quality discs that were treasured by core collectors in Japan have been entrusted to us and digitized by an overseas manufacturer specializing in analogue. Nowadays, it is difficult to find a decent consumer player, but in a high-end professional environment, the maximum amount of information that was available on laser discs has been transferred to DVD. These techniques are the same as the “Usual” reprint series, but the visual beauty of this work is different from “Usual”. The intensely vivid and vivid screen is top class among the series. Every strand of Lou Gramm's curly hair and every drop of sweat shines, and the night is an infinitely deep jet black. Although it should definitely be an analog shoot, it is a transcendent beauty that is more than enough to be officially released even by modern digital standards. Of course, the audio is also the perfect official sound. Although countless CDs have been produced since ancient times, the sound brought out by "Mint Quality LD + Professional Specification" is undeniably the best quality. What is depicted in such the highest quality in history is the ``Best Edition that you can see with your eyes,'' packed with famous songs from the heyday. Here, let's organize the set and experience the richness.・Glory's Departure: Long , Long Way from Home・Double Vision: Hot Blooded・Head Games: Head Games/Dirty White Boy・4: Waiting For A Girl Like You/Luanne/Urgent/Jukebox Hero・Provocateur: That Was Yesterday /I Want To Know What Love Is/Reaction To Action...and so it goes like this. They selected and performed only the most representative songs from all of their works, from their debut album "FOREIGNER" to their new work at the time, "AGENT PROVOCATEUR." All 11 songs are single hits, and most of them are in the top 20. The balance is clearly focused on the famous album "4" after the 4-member lineup. The tight ensemble shines to the fullest. The most amazing of all is Lou Gramm, who does not even bother to wipe away the sweat dripping from his body as he belts out his enchanting, magical voice. The way he rocked with all his might in the form of a song is amazing.Of course, his beautiful ballads are far more passionate than his studio albums. He is often referred to as having a ``soulful vocal,'' but in fact, he has a ``soulful voice.'' '' is what I would like to call it in Japanese. FOREIGNER had a string of big pop hits and was even seen as a representative of "industrial rock." However, the performance was passionate and the singing voice touched the soul. An official video that perfectly depicts their heyday. This is the highest edition ever. It is a loss to humanity that so much live footage remains hidden in the darkness of history. Live at Odaiba, Tokyo, Japan 10th~11th August 1985 PRO-SHOT (55:29) 1. Long, Long Way From Home 2.
