FOREIGNER celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2016 and was touring European festivals ahead of a large-scale anniversary project. The best video is now available. This work was filmed at “Clison Performance on June 18, 2016”. This is a multi-camera professional shot taken at France's...or rather, Europe's famous festival "HELLFEST". In 2016, regular concerts were held to commemorate the 40th anniversary, and the acoustic tour "THE HITS: UNPLUGGED" also became a hot topic. In order to sort out the circumstances around that, let's first check the show's position from the schedule at that time.・February 11th to May 29th: North America #1 (40 performances) ・June 7th to 20th: Europe #1 (7 performances) ←★Here★ ・July 1st to 30th: North America #2 (15 performances) August 4th-12th: Europe #2 (7 performances) August 25th-September 3rd: North America #3 (5 performances) “THE HITS: UNPLUGGED 2016” September 23rd -November 19th: North America #4 (11 performances) This is FOREIGNER in 2016. “THE HITS: UNPLUGGED” was held for two weeks in the fall, but other than that it was a regular electric show. This HELLFEST performance was also the 6th concert of "Europe #1" which was touring summer festivals in Europe. This work is a DVD version of the distribution pro shot, but even though the content is 5 years old, the quality is the latest. In fact, HELLFEST was forced to be canceled in 2020 and 2011 due to the new coronavirus pandemic, and is scheduled to make a large-scale comeback in 2022. Just recently, we started distributing the archive footage that serves as the trailer, and it has become a hot topic with people saying that it is of such high quality that it is ``higher quality than it was back then!'' This work is the latest distribution version, not a rebroadcast. Therefore, the image quality, sound quality, mix, etc., are of the highest quality that can only be called ``completely official grade'' from top to bottom. What is depicted with such perfect / ironclad visual beauty is the ultimate concentrated greatest hits. I don't know if it's because of the on-site time or the distribution time, but there are a lot of great songs lined up in about 50 minutes. Let's organize the set here.・Glorious Departure: Cold As Ice/Feels Like The First Time ・Double Vision: Double Vision/Hot Blooded ・Head Games: 4: Urgent/Juke Box Hero ・Provocateur: I Want To Know What Love Is...and it goes like this. Eight songs are performed in about the time of one LP, but not only are all the songs single hits, but it is truly the ultimate selection in terms of data. If you count the number of times it has been played live over the years, the first place is "Cold As Ice" and the second place is "Feels Like The First Time"...The above is the top 8 itself ( By the way, ``Dirty White Boy'' came in 9th place, and ``Waiting for a Girl Like You'' finally came out in 10th place). And the performance that spins the ultimate set is also wonderful. Although their 40th anniversary tour started in 2017, they have already performed enthusiastically at big festivals where young audiences gather, with their best album ``40'' on the backdrop. Kelly Hansen, who serves as the front desk, has already been in the group for 11 years, and is actually 55 years old. His singing voice was not at a level where there was any discomfort, but he had the air of a veteran like Steven Tyler, and he went down to the audience seats and high-fived him wildly. Not only is he worthy of a gold medal, but he also shows off a hot stage that appeals to the younger generation. In any case, it is the ``ultimate best album that you can see with your eyes'' with super-high quality. A live set list is like a weapon that the band uses to confront the audience in front of them. This is a song selection that has the most realistic feel, on a completely different level from the best-of albums selected by arrogant critics and ignorant staff members of record companies. Moreover, the 8 songs in this work are the ultimate 8 songs that have been accumulated over many years on stage after stage. This is a video work where you can enjoy the ultimate best in completely official quality. In the case of a big veteran band, "recent professional shots" and "standard best selections" tend to be looked down upon, but if you push the flavor to its limits, it will become even more amazing. This is a piece that clearly shows this. Multi-camera pro shot of “June 18, 2016 HELLFEST”. This is the latest master released by the festival, which has been canceled due to the new coronavirus pandemic, in preparation for its return in 2022, and is a completely official quality that is being talked about as ``higher image quality than at that time!'' It's about 50 minutes long, which is the length of one LP, but it contains the top 8 songs that have been played live over the years. Kelly Hansen's passionate performance, reminiscent of Steven Tyler, is also wonderful, and this is a ``best of' album that you can enjoy with your eyes in the ultimate quality.
