This is a nearly complete recording of a live performance at Long Island Arena in New York on September 2nd, from the 1972 US tour, when the band began to change from an early blues band through member changes, recorded by a good audience master for the time. First of all, this live performance was during a delicate period when Bob Welch, who would later become active as Paris and a solo artist, and Christine McVie, the only female member, joined the band, and Danny Kirwan was about to leave the band. This is a rare and valuable record in the history of Mac, where pop elements that would later be connected and the performance as a blues band up to that point coexist. 01. Homeward Bound/02.
