On October 28, 1970, San Francisco recorded the Fillmore West performance for 1 hour and 48 minutes with high-quality audience recording. The cassette tape recording from that time is said to be the master, and I am overwhelmed by the incredible clarity and freshness of the sound. There is no sound cage or hiss noise at all. With stable and very easy-to-listen sound, you can enjoy the entire show. In the opening track, after the band tunes, you can hear Bill Graham's introductory words, ``Small Faces.'' Although the order of the songs in the set is slightly changed from the Santa Monica performance, it is almost the same, and unlike Santa Monica, which can be heard on this LP and the second half of the newly discovered tape, it is a single master (partial tape change cut) If you exclude ), you can listen to the entire show at once with almost no loss. Rod's wonderful singing, effective chorus work, Ron's sticky guitar, Ian's keyboard playing with outstanding presence, and a heavy and unique groove that could only be reproduced by the Faces of this era. You can enjoy the full performance to the fullest. It is said that the original cassette master was saved on reel tape, and this time it was directly digitized, but if you touch this outstandingly fresh sound, it makes sense. In terms of quality and quantity, there is no better album than this to enjoy the fullness of the Faces' stage performance in the late 1970s. Live at Fillmore West, San Francisco, CA.
