Although he is said to be the reincarnation of a young Keith Jarrett with his crystal-clear tones and overflowing beautiful melodies, he has not stopped there, and has launched bold innovations that still serve as a guidepost for a new generation of piano trios. The best performance of the trio led by the late genius Esbjorn Svensson in 2003, their most productive period, is now available in amazingly high-quality sound! ! ! Esbjörn Svensson Trio was formed in 1993 by Esbjörn Svensson on piano, Dan Berglund on bass, and Magnus Ostrom on drums. Until around 1997, Svensson's playing was reminiscent of a young Keith Jarrett, both in his songwriting and his piano touch, but after the release of "From Gagarins" in 1998, he changed the group's name to E.S.T. After that, we aimed to create a total sound as a trio, and along with that, we began distorting the sound electrically and diversifying the rhythm, creating a unique world that could not be called jazz, classical, or post-rock. I created piano trio music with an extremely high level of perfection that I had never heard before, and of course was strictly acoustic. E.S.T.'s heyday, a studio live held in Slovenia on May 14, 2003, is a 2-disc set that was completely recorded for 1 hour and 40 minutes on a super high-quality stereo sound board that was carefully mastered by the label.
