Introducing the finest new master version of the classic pro shot representing the "PILGRIM Tour" held from 1998 to 1999. This is a new discovery of a treasured air check master that surpasses all previously released videos. As Eric Clapton's Japanese performance broadcast version, this work was filmed with multi-camera professional shots at the "Yokohama Arena performance on November 24, 1999." This was the second time since the Nippon Budokan performance in 1997, and it was unusual for an official Clapton video. This show was later broadcast on satellite TV at the time, and overseas it is a standard video that has been released as a half-official DVD from the leaked air check master. Our store has also offered Air Check Master as a gift item in the past, but this time, we have obtained an Air Check Master of the highest quality that surpasses all such previously released records, including those from overseas. Speaking of the official video of Clapton's "PILGRIM Tour," it is an incomplete version of the "Crossroads Concert," a charity event organized by Clapton himself and held at New York's Madison Square Garden on June 30 of the same year. There was only a recorded version. Moreover, given the purpose of the show, there were many guests appearing, and the content could not be called a pure record of the “PILGRIM Tour”. Meanwhile, Clapton gave the go-ahead for a complete video recording of the concert in his favorite country, Japan. Let's take a look at the Japan tour schedule at that time. 1999 Japan Tour ・November 9: Nippon Budokan ・November 11: Nagoya Gymnasium ・November 13: Marine Messe Fukuoka ・November 15, 16, 17: Osaka Castle Hall ・November 19, 20th, 22nd: Nippon Budokan ・November 24th: Yokohama Arena ←★Here★ ・November 26th, 27th, 29th, 30th: Nippon Budokan This was the schedule for the 1999 Japan tour. Out of a total of 14 performances, the recorded Yokohama performance was the 10th performance at the end. The previous year, they toured extensively with a string orchestra of 20 people mainly in Europe and the United States, but a Japan tour was not planned, and it was only realized in late 1999, when the new year changed. As it was broadcast on satellite TV, this show is also a classic that has produced countless episodes, and if you are a Clapton fan who has paid attention to this article, you will have seen it at least once. Although this work is such a classic, it is an air check master that has never been released on the market until now. Moreover, the person who recorded it was not a free person. At our store, we have archived a number of Ongakuba Group songs with the best masters by domestic record enthusiasts, and this work is also made by such core enthusiasts. In terms of recent releases, many people are impressed by Michael Jackson's blockbuster "JAPAN TOUR '87," Prince's "TOKYO DOME 1990: Re-Broadcast Edition," and Keith Richards' "BOSTON 1993 1st Night." it might be. It is the latest work of a maniac who has achieved that transcendent visual beauty. In fact, the visual beauty of this work can be said to be Clapton’s version of Michael / Prince / Keith. I'm not a terrestrial fan, so I don't have the fun of nostalgic commercials, but that's why the real thrill of a seamless, uninterrupted live performance is all the more wonderful, the text in the captions and subtitles is the clearest, and the sense of stability is strong. The completeness of the work is just as wonderful as the Michael/Prince/Keith version. And the visual beauty, which is the biggest attraction, is also amazing. While there are countless releases that are too standard, it is a quality that can be declared as the "best in history." There is no noise so far, the edge of each letter of the telop is vivid, the luster of Clapton's skin and the details of the guitar are ultra-realistic, and the sense of stability is also tremendous...I have never seen a master like this. The show depicted with its visual beauty... there is no need to put it into words. As for the set list, on the first day of the tour it was a long one, with blues songs like Reconsider Baby and Old Love, and before you accuse me in the encore, but as the tour progressed, the band became more tired and due to time constraints. These numbers gradually dropped, and we settled on the setlist for this work. His latest work at the time, ``PILGRIM,'' was a masterpiece that took seven years to create and contained thoughts about his 4-year-old son who passed away in 1991 and introspection about his own life. We focused on performing numbers from the album. This was the crux of this tour, and it included Clapton's synonymous blues and his own signature songs, making it what could be called the best set at the time. What is noteworthy is that one song features second guitarist Andy Fairweather Rowe, who has supported Clapton for many years. As a reward for his years of hard work, I entrusted him with one song with trust, but in the middle there is a highlight where Clapton takes the leading role with a tremendous solo. On the other hand, from Andy's point of view, he probably entrusted Clapton with the solo because of his trust. Furthermore, a valuable Clapton interview is inserted before the encore. There is also the umami of being able to hear Clapton's real voice at the time, including his thoughts on the Japan performance. The sources of the songs performed are: PILGRIM (5 songs), My Father's Eyes (★) / Pilgrim (★) / River Of Tears / Going Down Slow / She's Gone (★) LAYLA AND OTHER ASSORTED LOVESONGS (2 songs) Bell Bottom Blues (★) / Layla SLOWHAND (2 songs) ・Wonderful Tonight / Cocaine (★) Single hit songs (2 songs) ・Tears In Heaven / Change The World Cream era (2 songs) ・Badge (★) / Sunshine Of Your Love Blues (3 songs), Hoochie Coochie Man (★) / Ramblin' On My Mind (★) / Have You Ever Loved A Woman (★) Others (1 song), Gin House (★) *Andy Fairweather Low's solo number *Note: Songs marked with a "★" are not available in the pro shot of the MSG performance. ...and it looks like this. Featuring the latest and most important work at the time, "PILGRIM," Clapton's entire career includes the Cream era that established his status, hit songs from the famous albums "LAYLA..." and "SLOWHAND," single hits, and blues. A delicious selection of songs interspersed with representative repertoire that sums things up. As per the schedule above, the series of performances has come to a close, so the band's Aun's breathing is also wonderful. That is a musical masterpiece that can be called Clapton's "best" at this point. As an aside, this stage does not have a fluffy Persian carpet under Clapton's feet like in later years. Clapton was 53 years old at the time. I guess he was so young that he didn't have to worry about the strain on his legs even on a two-hour stage (though his passion for playing remains the same). The album "PILGRIM" and its tour had great meaning in Clapton's life. This is the ultimate master of the multi-camera pro shot that symbolizes this. We are not part of the Guinness Book of World Records, so we are not in a position to certify it as the "best in the world," but this work is definitely the best version of the Japanese broadcast version, with every single character in the Japanese subtitles vivid. Originally, this is a piece that deserves to be made into a permanent preservation press. Multi-camera professional shot of "November 24, 1999 Yokohama Arena Performance". This is a professional broadcast shot that can be said to be a symbol of the PILGRIM Tour, and this work is the best master of Japanese broadcasting by a core recording enthusiast who has worked on big hits for Michael Jackson and Prince. The visual beauty of the completely official level is wonderful, and the sense of stability is strong. There is no noise so far, the edges of each telop character are vivid, the luster of Clapton's skin is super realistic, and the sense of stability is tremendous...I have never seen a master like this. You can also enjoy the delicious full show of “My Father's Eyes,” “She's Gone,” and “Bell Bottom Blues,” which cannot be seen even in the professional shots of MSG performances, which is another live video staple.
