From the US tour that was held in conjunction with the release of "Pilgrim" in 1998, the Washington performance on April 16th was recorded in a complete stereo audience recording with super high quality sound comparable to a soundboard. The tour attracted attention on how to express the new work that used a lot of programming on stage, but in the end, the performance showed a performance that amplified the appeal of the songs several times. The opening two songs, "My Father's Eyes" that raises the excellence of the songs even more than the album, and "Pilgrim" that finishes the linked phrases with an overwhelming groove, convinced the selection of the band organized for this tour and the success of the tour, and the subsequent songs also had a groove that was not felt on the album, and even the slow number "River Of Tears" was played to overwhelm the audience. And the highlights of the electric set that restarts after a short acoustic set are the blues tunes "Old Love" and "Have You Ever Loved A Woman". In particular, the latter song uses traditional notes and phrases, but the sound of the phrase breaks and the sense of choosing them make it a traditional blues, while the former song allows you to hear the best of white blues playing since the 1960s. In particular, the performance on this day featured a triplet that broke the rhythm and a phrase that effectively determined the sustain. The keyboard solo was also played in a way that was comparable to the guitar, which made heavy use of bends, and all the songs that lasted over 10 minutes had a comfortable tension. This is an album that will remind you of the charm of the 1998 Pilgrim tour. Disc 1 / 1. My Father's Eyes 2. Pilgrim 3. One Chance 4. River Of Tears 5. Going Down Slow 6. She's Gone 7.
