The first appearance of Eric Clapton's 1992 UK tour is now available as a 4-CD set. The recently released “SUMMER NIGHT IN DORTMUND” contained unreleased sound from the 1992 European tour, but this edition includes tracks from the UK tour that took place immediately after appearing on MTV “Unplugged” in the same year. This is a 4CD containing a complete recording of good stereo audience sound sources from the first day, February 3rd, and second day, February 4th, of the three consecutive Birmingham performances that occurred at the beginning. Since this edition is also a very good sound source, it has been released as a press CD from the Beano label. Although there is some reverberation in the venue on both days, this sound source with a very clear and well-balanced sound is the first to appear in Japan. The master uses a new sound source that has recently appeared on the Internet, but it is significantly different from other releases in that it has been mastered by this label, which is now well-established, and the sound quality has been improved. Masu. First, on both days, the pitch, which was slightly high in the former master, was successfully corrected. This can be said to be a crucial point in listening. Furthermore, the February 3rd version has been reborn as a sound with a sense of depth by softening the slightly hard high range. And on February 4th, we suppressed the mid-high range, which felt a little excessive, and balanced it with the low range, transforming it into a sound with a sense of stability. Through this correction and mastering, the sound stands out from the sound sources of the same content that exist among traders. Since the tour was held immediately after "Unplugged," the new songs "Signe" and "Tears In Heaven," which were played on the same program, were performed in an acoustic set. However, it is attractive that two songs, "My Father's Eyes" and "Circus Left Town", which were unreleased at the time, are played. In particular, the former was only played at the beginning of this tour, and it is noteworthy that it is played in an electric version that is different from the “unplugged” time. This arrangement is also very different from the later "PILGRIM" version, and it is interesting to hear that it is a gentle rock version compared to the reggae version of "PILGRIM". Furthermore, "Anything For Your Love" from "JOURNEYMAN" was played live for the first time, and the song order was changed on both days, making it a very attractive and valuable set list. I can say it. “She’s Waiting” is played with a nuance closer to the original than the 1985 tour, and “White Room” was played specially on February 4th. It is also a noteworthy sound source as the tour in which Andy Fairweather Rowe and Chuck Liber joined the Clapton band for the first time, and you can hear Liber's majestic vocals in the chorus of "White Room". This release is an upgrade of the two early performances of the "Unplugged Tour," which is packed with rare numbers and rare versions. Please don't miss it.
