From Eric Clapton's 1977 Japan tour, which was his fourth visit to Japan, the complete first appearance of the Nippon Budokan performance on October 7th, the best master of the complete recording will be released on press 2CD. The master used for this board is a newly discovered original audience source that has not been distributed at all on the internet or even among tape traders until now. This day's sound source is an incomplete monaural soundboard source with a leaked PA out of the staff that has not been recorded for the encore, and a stereo that has been completely cut out due to a tape change in the middle of "Mama Told Me".・Audience source and ``Mama Told Me'', which was adopted in our store's release ``Touch My Heart'', is recorded until the end, but the cut part in the middle due to tape change is compensated with ?'s sound board source There were three types of monaural audience sources. The sound image of the master of this disc is monaural, but the sound quality is very clear, the sound balance is perfect, and you can fully feel the significance of its release. This master has breadth and depth in the sound, giving a good sense of separation between each instrument, and has excellent sound balance, making it the most accurate reproduction of the sound image of the day. The volume of the vocals is also exquisite, and it can be said that it is a master of wonderful sound quality that can be declared to be the best cassette recording at the time. What's more, the recording was a trouble-free master, and on the previously released editions, there was a cutout during George Terry's guitar solo, and on Marcy, there was a cutout between 2:54 and 3:26. It is noteworthy that Levy's featuring number "Mama Told Me" is truly the first complete recording, and with this master, it can be said that a true complete recording has finally been realized. Also, in terms of the quality of the performance, Clapton's performance on this day is amazing, and you can hear sharp and aggressive solos from the opening number to the entire volume. In particular, it is no exaggeration to say that the solo bursting with slow hand playing in “Bottle Of Red Wine” is the best not only on this Japan tour but also among all the live takes of this song. In addition, "Cocaine" is a fresh take as it is the second time it has been performed live (the first performance was at the Budokan performance the day before). Even in the popular song "Layla" which welcomes the big finale, Clapton develops a very enthusiastic solo and leads the band. This edition, which uses a new master that achieves high quality in both sound and play, is worth listening to even for enthusiasts who have previously released editions, and can be recommended as the definitive edition of this day.
