Contains two recordings of Eric Clapton's memorable first stage in Japan. Of course, the "THE FIRST SHOW IN JAPAN" released this time is a completely diff master. Discs 1 & 2 contain the "FIRST CONCERT IN JAPAN" recording, called "Recorder 1", which was released just once two years ago and was well received by enthusiasts. There is a slight sense of distance from the stage, and compared to this version, there is a slight sense of distance from the stage, and the cheers are picked up louder, and the recording is also mono, but the sound is actually wide and is recorded with a clear and well-balanced sound. After all, it is a high-quality recording from a master cassette that was not available anywhere until two years ago. It is an excellent level for a cassette recording at that time, and fans who have not heard or owned it should definitely get it. Discs 3 & 4 contain the newly remastered "FIRST VISIT, FIRST NIGHT" released in 2001. The original release had a strong sense of equalization, but with current technology, it has been returned to the original clear sound. As a result, the sound quality has improved dramatically, and the famous sound source has been revived in the best condition after 13 years as a high-quality sound source. As always, the distance from the stage is felt, but this take, recorded with a solid and thick sound, is definitely a must-listen for fans. Both sound sources are unrecorded only for the encore "Blues Power", but the memorable first day performance of the first visit to Japan is captured in detail with both excellent master quality. The show was an interesting set list, including the famous song Better Make It Through, which was recorded just before coming to Japan and will be included in "There's One In Every Crows", as well as Singin' The Blues and Little Rachel, and an instrumental version of the Everly Brothers' All I Have To Do Is Dream in a medley with Badge. The scene before Tell The Truth, when the audience erupts in cheers as he switches from acoustic to Gibson Explorer, shows that the audience at the time had high hopes for Clapton playing electric guitar. He plays three slow numbers before the popular song Layla, which makes the audience feel depressed, but Layla makes the audience stand up all at once, and you can really see how it causes chaos. Clapton's play, which shows his true worth in the solo after Layla, is also worth listening to. Many of the previously released versions of the chaotic Layla had a muffled sound quality, but this version has a good balance and clarity even for this song. At the time, it was said that "Clapton didn't play the guitar much," but when you listen to it again, you can see the fulfilling stage of Clapton, who had already established a twin lead system with George Terry at this time. We are now offering two very valuable and excellent masters that realistically convey these documents. This is an excellent piece that can be recommended not only to Clapton enthusiasts but to rock fans in general.
