After his break from Derek and the Dominos, he began his solo career in earnest on his first tour of Japan. The performance at the Budokan on November 2, 1974 was added and recorded on the third day, and this is a complete audience recording (using unreleased original master cassette). The band sound and the audience are beautifully captured in a well-balanced way, and the excitement of the day is conveyed in a realistic and ideal sound. (Willie And The Hand Jive is supplemented with the previously released SBD sound source from 0:37 to 1:30, Singing The Blues 8:20, Blues Power 11:52 tape change.) Immediately after their arrival in Japan in 1974, the 2LP Bootleg "LIVE IN JAPAN" was released as a recording of the same performance, and includes the final song of the main program, Layla ~ All I Have To Do Dream, and the encore Blues Power. The label is unknown, and the label is unknown. The mono audience sound source has tape hiss, and the pitch of all the songs is unstable, making it a poor quality record. (The CD version of this sound source that has been digitally converted is also famous among traders.) Since this was their first visit to Japan and a performance at the Budokan, there should have been many other tapers who recorded it, but strangely, no other sources were available. In the 1990s, various items were released, such as the "LEGEND COMES ALIVE" Keep On version, "1974", which used the PA-out mono soundboard source (there is hiss noise, but it is clear and easy to listen to. The pitch is normal) that did not include Layla ~ All I Have To Do Dream and the encore Blues Power, and the previously released best "Lovely ~" which was recorded completely with an audience recording. This time, it will be a complete recording using an audience source that has not been released until now, including the end of the performance announcement, so it can be said that it is a release that fans have been waiting for! Clapton overcame his drug addiction and held a comeback press conference at a restaurant in London on the 4th and 10th (3 days later, he went to Miami to record a new album, and began a US tour in June), but although it was a great success in terms of the box office, perhaps due to pressure, he became addicted to alcohol, and of course he was completely drunk on this day, and told the audience who was making noise during the encore, "Shut Up". Still, the quality of the ensemble is by no means low (although the vocal pitch is unstable from the start of Smile, and the lack of band groove suddenly creates an uneasy feeling in the venue...), and they perform four acoustic numbers and even Presence Of The Lord. It's a shame that the guitar solos are arranged short in all the songs, but the solo in the last song, Layla, is truly amazing, and the twin lead with George Terry is definitely a must-listen! From their memorable first visit to Japan to the additional performance at the Budokan on November 2nd, this must-have item will be released, packaging the ideal sound for fans.
