[Clapton & Winwood, joint stage compilation sound source!] Two superb stereo audience sound sources from 2011, the last year of the joint stage that two superstars in the British rock world, Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood, have been performing for four years, will be released at the same time! Both works are DAT masters recorded by the heavyweight Taper, who lives in the UK and is familiar with Clapton titles. Therefore, they are original masters that will be released exclusively by our shop. The first work is a complete recording of the stage on May 26, the first day of the joint, from the annual consecutive performances held at the Royal Albert Hall (hereinafter referred to as RAH) in London, with "superb" sound quality. It is speculated that the seat that the heavyweight Taper got was a good position in the front of the floor seats, probably in front of the PA speaker located on the left front. The musical sound is slightly leaning to the left channel from the center, but the applause and cheers of the audience are neatly divided to the left and right. The sound quality is flawless, clear, and the sound balance is perfect, and it is recorded in the best environment without any audience noise such as annoying nearby customers' talking or coughing throughout the whole work. Previously, the sound source of this day was released from the audience master recorded by the local taper under the 6-disc title "ROYAL FAITH NIGHTS", but the DAT master of this heavyweight taper has ultra-high sound quality that surpasses it. It is truly the highest peak audience recording. We hope you will enjoy the culmination stage, which was the last opportunity for the two joints, with the highest sound quality ever. [A perfect performance suitable for the final year! ] In fact, Clapton and Winwood had held a joint concert in London in 2010, the previous year. It was also captured in the recently released "Wembley 2010 Second Night". The band members who supported the 2011 concert were the same as in 2010. Two years in a row, he performed in London again with the same band, but to understand the circumstances, let's look at Clapton's activities from the previous year to these consecutive performances. 2010: February 13th and 14th: Held a joint concert with Jeff Beck at the O2 Arena in London. February 16th: Appeared in the "Plastic Ono Band 40th Anniversary Concert" at the BAM Howard Gilman Opera House in New York. Performed with Yoko Ono and Sean Lennon・February 18th to February 22nd: Short American tour with Jeff Beck・February 25th to March 13th: American tour with his own band・May 18th to June 13th: Joint European tour with Steve Winwood・June 26th: 3rd Crossroads Guitar Festival held at Toyota Park in Illinois・June 28th to July 3rd: Short American tour with his own band<<September 27th: Album "CLAPTON" released>>・October 23rd: Appeared in a charity concert for the former US President Clinton's fund at St. John the Divine Church in New York・November 2nd: Appeared in the music live program "Later with Jools Holland" at the BBC Studios in London・November 17th: Appeared in the "Princess Tour" held at the Royal Albert Hall in London・December 31st: Held the annual "New Year's Eve Dance" in Woking, Surrey, UK <2011>・January 13th: Appeared at a charity concert in Cranley, Surrey, UK・February 11th to 20th: Toured the Middle East and Asia with his own band・February 25th to March 9th: Toured the US with his own band・March 21st: Participated in a session celebrating Jimmie Vaughan's birthday at a cafe in Texas, US・April 7th to 9th: Appeared at a charity concert hosted by Wynton Marsalis at the Rose Center in New York・May 7th to 15th: Toured the UK with his own band・May 17th to 24th: Consecutive performances at the Royal Albert Hall with his own band (6 performances)・May 26th to June 1st: Joint performance with S. Winwood at the Royal Albert Hall (5 performances) ←★Here★ Considering the above, the reason for the joint performance in London (UK) for two consecutive years was that Clapton had a lot of fun performing live with his ally Winwood. Considering that he also performed the same in Japan in November of that year, it must have been a lot of fun. It can be seen from their active and diverse activities that Clapton was in high spirits. In 2010, he released a new studio recording, "CLAPTON," and wanted to perform the songs from that album live. The songs on this album were from what Clapton calls his "mental jukebox." It was probably because he had something in common with Winwood, who is from the same generation, that he wanted to play with him (That's No Way To Get Along is one example). As long as they performed two consecutive years, Clapton also changed the set list. He included Hoochie Coochie Man, While You See A Chance, and That's No Way To Get Along, which he had not played the previous year. The other songs were the same as the previous year, but the performance heard in this work is so perfect that it can only be said to be perfect. In particular, Winwood's singing and restrained organ in Georgia On My Mind, which features Winwood, and Clapton's guitar solo inserted there are exquisite. It can be said with confidence that this is a masterpiece that only these two can play. The numbers from the old Blind Faith era are also well-done, and the wave attack of Clapton's guitar and Winwood's organ in Jimi Hendrix's Voodoo Chile is irresistible. The interplay between the two guitars at the end of the encore Dear Mr. Fantasy is also brilliant. On top of the project that has been going on for four years, it was only natural that the level of completion would be high, with the support of a reliable band from the previous year. The original master sound source of the first day performance of RAH in 2011, which achieved the highest sound quality ever. Looking back now, please enjoy the definitive version of the precious Clapton & Winwood joint concert.
