We would like to introduce a wonderful item. This DVD contains a 112-minute recording of a joint concert by Clapton and Steve Winwood held in Denver, Colorado, on June 21, 2009, with good audience shots. It was recently uploaded, so it is a video that only a few people know, but it is the first time it has been released in Japan. The angle is from the third floor stand slightly to the right of the stage, looking down, but it is shot under favorable conditions with no obstructions, including the audience, in front. According to the notes on the Internet, the photographer seems to be a considerable audience shot maniac, and he boasts that he has shot 40 rock concerts so far and has more than 100 boot videos from the VHS era. As he says, this video is the best of Clapton's footage that he has taken, the quality is reassuring. At the beginning, he seems to be struggling with the angle, accurately capturing the screen at the upper left of the stage, but once he understands the distance from the stage, he uses a lot of stage shots. The overall composition is a mixture of beautiful stage shots and occasional screenshots. The sound is recorded in stereo, and as recommended by the artist himself, the footage is very easy to watch. However, due to equipment problems, the two songs played after No Face, No Name, No Number, Forever Man and Georgia On My Mind, are not included, which is a shame. However, even with that out of the way, this footage is still worth watching and enjoying. This tour was held following the Japan tour in February of the same year. Therefore, the only band members missing were Doyle Bramhall II, and the members from the Japan tour were the ones supporting him. There is no doubt that this was the time when Clapton, who had realized the first ever joint concert with Jeff Beck in Japan in February, wanted to further promote his collaboration with his old friend, and he shows us the perfect harmony with Winwood, who is a good friend of his. The repertoire is based on the numbers of the supergroup BLIND FAITH, which the two formed in 1969, and they play their respective representative songs, blues, and memorable covers of J.J. Cale and Jimi Hendrix. Considering that five of the seven songs officially released by BLIND FAITH were performed, it seems that the two wanted to look back on the turbulent and noisy times and play the songs from that time again. It can be said that everything is worth seeing, but the highlight is the part from the final song, Voodoo Chile, which had fans ecstatic during the 2011 Japan tour, to the encore, Dear Mr. Fantasy. Please enjoy the stage of the passionate friendship between the two, which was realized in 2009. Live at Pepsi Center, Denver, CO. USA 21st June 2009 (111:56) 1. Had To Cry Today 2. Low Down 3.
