Once again, the definitive edition from Eric Clapton's latest European tour is here! This edition contains the finest stereo audience source from when they appeared at Poland's "Life Festival" on June 28, the last day of the tour. Of course, it is a complete recording without any trouble. This time Clapton toured mainly at festivals, so while there were many daytime performances at outdoor venues, this album also captures the band's sound straight at close range, without worrying about the diffused musical sounds. It is a wonderful quality that can be declared to be the highest peak audience recording of modern times, which is as good as the “MANNHEIM 2014” released by our store the other day. I use Netmaster, but the original sound source was troublesome in a sense, as the sound quality and sound image changed depending on the scene. However, our well-established engineers have performed accurate mastering on the entire volume, resulting in a dramatic upgrade from the original master. The key to mastering was to divide the tracks into the first half, middle acoustic set, and second half, which have different sound images and sound qualities, and to make appropriate sound adjustments to suit each. If you are an enthusiast who downloaded the songs from the internet and compare them, you will be able to hear the difference from the sound of the first song. The clarity and sound pressure are completely different, and I think you'll be surprised by the powerful sound. It has transformed into a quality that is worthy of being released as a press CD, and should be listened to by those who are satisfied with downloaded files. Although the set list is the same as "MANNHEIM 2014" on this day, you can enjoy a different play from "MANNHEIM 2014" because Clapton only plays solos with improvisation. Furthermore, it was a meaningful performance to listen to as it was the last day of the tour, but it was actually a performance with even greater meaning. Clapton announced at the beginning that this was a stage to pay tribute to Bobby Womack, a prominent soul guitarist and singer who passed away the day before, with whom Clapton had a close friendship during the 1989 Wanna Make Love To You session. It's a memorable performance. Clapton and Womack met back in the days of Clapton's Cream era, during sessions for Aretha Franklin's album "LADY SOUL" at Atlantic Studios on December 16 and 17, 1967. During this session, at the arrangement of producer Tom Dowd, Clapton took the solo instead of Womack on Good to Me as I Am to You, but Womack was very impressed with Clapton's skill and spirit at that time. I feel like he invited Clapton to his album session in 1989. Clapton also has memories with Womack, so he probably said that he would dedicate this day's stage to him. There is no doubt that Clapton was full of spirit, as he recently confessed that he suffers from tendonitis as a chronic disease, and he managed to play with all his heart, enduring the pain in his wrist to avoid hitting the wrong tone. You can listen to a passionate performance that makes you feel as if you are playing the game. Please enjoy Clapton's passion for the final performance with this record, which achieves the highest sound quality.
