The 2024 European tour, the best audience shot video of the 4th day of the Royal Albert Hall performance is also here! From Eric Clapton's latest 2024 European tour, which took place from May to June this year, which ended successfully, we recently released a wonderful multi-cam audience shot video of the first, second and third days of the performance at the Royal Albert Hall in London on May 20th, 21st and 23rd, but this time, the wonderful video of the final day, the 4th day, will also be released. This video is a high-quality multi-cam video like the other days. There are two main angles. The first is a shot from the stand seats directly to the right of the stage, which can be seen from the beginning, and the other is a great shot from a little to the left of the front of the first floor floor seats, which appears halfway through. It is an excellent angle that would have been good to record completely from this angle, but it seems that it was impossible to hold the camera up from start to finish only in this position. Therefore, the shots from the right side are mixed in exquisitely, and there are cuts where only Clapton's Strat is super close up, which is a unique composition of multi-camera. All the shots have no obstacles in front, and are of very high quality, so I never got bored watching this day. Furthermore, the sound is amazingly high quality stereo audience recording. The multi-cam switching is also skillfully cross-faded, and the sound is also from high quality sources from start to finish, so there is no change in sound quality due to camera switching. It is recorded with really beautiful image quality, good sound, and impeccable excellent quality. This editing is as amazing as ever. On this day, Clapton looked like he was wearing a white shirt, a gray jacket, and jeans of the same color (the jacket looks navy blue in the close-up shot of the guitar, so it seems that it was actually navy blue). Here he also plays the Strat painted in the Palestinian flag color that he used in the "SAVE A CHILD Concert (For GAZA Children)" (the video has already been released on DVD at our store), which was held as a charity concert to support Gaza last December. The big attraction of this tour is that the set list has been significantly changed from the previous year's tour, and many rare numbers are set in, from newly written new songs. Fans will be very happy just to be able to watch the latest tour stage with this high-quality video that has just appeared. The only band members are the keyboard, replaced by Paul Carrack, and Tim Carmon, a familiar member of the Clapton band, but the rest are the same as last year's tour. Therefore, the encore number has changed from High Time We Went, which featured Carrack in recent years! Surrounded by reliable and talented members who perform solid performances, Clapton is showing a very fulfilling performance, including a surprise. The set list was different from the previous three days, so you can enjoy it on its own. On this day, the opening scene was recorded from the appearance scene to the ending of the encore song, and there was no greeting scene with all the members, but it is a wonderful video that was recorded perfectly as before. If you have already seen the videos of the first, second, and third days of RAH, you will already know the high quality of this video. If that's the case, this work is a must. Set list and highlights different from the previous three days As expected, Clapton. Even at the age of 79, he started the tour in good health, and performed a wonderful stage every day in his hometown of London! Moreover, instead of the same set as in the past few years, he changed the set list, including a surprise. The opening was a surprise. This instrumental song, titled Blue Dust, was dedicated to Jeff Beck, who passed away last year, and was a variation of Blue Rainbow, which was first performed at a Japan performance in April of the same year! He was already working on a variation of a new song that had not even been officially recorded yet... This alone shows Clapton's vigorous creativity. Moving on to the acoustic set, the title number from the 2005 album "BACK HOME", Back Home, is played. This song was also a super rare song that was only played at the beginning of the 2006 tour. Perhaps this song also contains thoughts for the people of Gaza who lost their homes. And surprisingly, there were daily changes in this acoustic set! The first acoustic song is Driftin' Blues, which was not played on the second day. The first song after returning to the electric set is the powerful Dominos number, Got to Get Better in a Little While. It was also featured for the first time in a long time in the aforementioned "SAVE A CHILD Concert (For GAZA Children)", and Clapton was able to enjoy a dynamic performance for the first time in a long time, so it is thought that it was included in the set. Sonny Emory's outstanding stick handling is also wonderful here. The camera is also pointed at his drum solo scene after the break in the middle, and it is captured properly. What's interesting here is that all this time Clapton is looking down and surrendering himself to Emory's drumming to keep the rhythm, but when Emory stops the solo unexpectedly early, he turns around and smiles at Emory as if to say, "Is it okay now?" It's a heartwarming moment that can only be seen with the video. Also, I only found out after watching the video that on the previous three days, he had been playing a navy Strat from this song until the end, but on this day, he only used it for this song, and after that, he went back to his Palestine-colored Strat (the reason is unknown). Then, he dropped Presence of the Lord, which he played on the first day during his Blind Faith days, and played You Were There, just like on the second and third days. It is a dramatic number from the 1998 album "PILGRIM" that expresses gratitude to his manager at the time. The only time this song was performed live was as an encore at Earl's Court in London on October 15 of the same year. It has been 26 years since then that he played it. And in Little Queen Of Spades, Clapton had played the solo with his fingers, which was unusual the day before, but on this day he returned to playing with a pick as usual. You can see a lot of things in the video. Just when I thought there were no more surprises, Nathan East played a song by Lyle Mays called Close To Home as a prologue before Cocaine as a special performance. And there was still a surprise at the very end. For the encore, Andy Fairweather Low, who was the opening act as on the previous day, appeared (his solo was also featured). Looking at it this way, you can see that the artist Clapton made a set list for this tour while thinking about many things and many people. Of course, the most fundamental desire is to play, but it seems that he also wanted to perform with his own feelings. A lost best friend, a world of constant war, an admired bluesman, his career so far. This set list and this fulfilling live performance are the result of various thoughts going through Clapton's mind. Although Golden Ring was not played on this day, we hope you enjoy the wonderful video of the final day of the Royal Albert Hall consecutive performances, which was the highlight of the tour with the best performance and the best angle.
