The highlight of the 2024 Euro Tour, the familiar Royal Albert Hall in London, the 3rd and 4th days of the consecutive performances on May 23rd and 24th, are coupled in full from the digital audience master released by Taper. First of all, the attractive thing about this tour is that the set list has been significantly changed from the previous year, and many rare numbers are set in from newly written new songs, which is a delight for fans of Clapton, who has not changed his set list much in recent years. And anyway, it's nice to see him looking healthy even at 79 years old, and since it was his home ground, the Royal Albert Hall, he played well from start to finish, his vocals were in good shape, and the set started with an instrumental number called "Blue Dust," which was also a hot topic at the previous RAH2 concert. Incidentally, this song was dedicated to Beck, who passed away the previous year, and is a variation of "Blue Rainbow," which was first performed at the Japan concert in April of the same year. Starting with a song that hasn't even been recorded yet, you can feel Clapton's enthusiasm. Furthermore, the last new song of the first half of the electric set, "Prayer of a Child," is a new song with new lyrics added to the instrumental song "Voice Of A Child" that was played at the venue during the charity concert in support of Gaza the previous year. Also, moving to the acoustic set, the title number from the 2005 album "BACK HOME" was also rare, and here too, there were daily changes, and on the third day, in addition to that, "Golden Ring" from "BACKLESS" was also played with an acoustic arrangement. Also, on the third day, the late George Harrison's son Dhani Harrison appeared on the encore, performing George's "Give Me Love" for the first time since the charity live the previous year. Andy Fairweather Low, who was the opening act, also appeared at the end of both days, so it's a must-have for fans, as it's a must-have for fans, along with the first and second day performances.
