The latest European tour, the best audience shot video of the third day of the Royal Albert Hall performance is also available. From Eric Clapton's latest 2024 European tour, which took place from May to June this year, which ended successfully, we recently released a wonderful audience shot video of the first day of the performance at the Royal Albert Hall in London on May 20th, but this time, the wonderful video of the third day will also be released along with the second day. This video is a high-quality multi-cam video like the other days. The main angle is a shot from the first floor stand slightly to the right of the stage, almost a front angle. As a sub-angle, it is involved with a pull shot from the stand seat just to the left of the stage and a pull shot from the stand seat just to the right of the stage. And sometimes there are cuts where only Clapton's Strat is super close up, which is a unique composition of multi-cam. There are no obstacles in front of all the shots, which are of very high quality, and I never got tired of watching this day. In addition, it is a high-quality stereo audience recording with amazing sound. The multi-camera switching is also skillfully cross-faded, and the audio is also high quality, with no change in sound quality due to camera switching. It is recorded with really beautiful image quality, good sound, and excellent quality without any flaws. This editing is amazing, just like the second day. On this day, Clapton looked like a gray shirt and gray suit. He also played the Stratocaster painted in the Palestinian flag colors that he used at the "SAVE A CHILD Concert (For GAZA Children)" (the video has already been released on DVD at our shop), which was held as a charity concert in support of Gaza in December last year. The great attraction of this tour is that the set list was significantly changed from the previous year's tour, and several rare numbers are set in from newly written new songs. Fans will be very happy just to be able to watch the latest tour stage with this high quality video that has just appeared. The band members have not changed since last year's tour, except for the keyboardist Paul Carrack, who has been replaced by Tim Carmon, a familiar member of Clapton's band. Therefore, the encore number has changed from High Time We Went, which featured Carrack in recent years! Surrounded by reliable and talented members who perform solid performances, Clapton is showing a very fulfilling performance, including a surprise. The set list was different from the second day, so you can enjoy this day alone. From the opening scene to the final greeting scene of all the members, it is a wonderful video that is perfectly recorded. Please enjoy it. The unexpected set list different from the second day is attractive! As expected of Clapton. Even at the age of 79, he started the tour in good health and performed a wonderful stage every day in his hometown of London! Moreover, instead of the same set that has not changed in recent years, he changed the set list, including a surprise. The opening was surprising. This instrumental song, titled Blue Dust, was dedicated to Jeff Beck, who passed away last year, and was a variation of Blue Rainbow, which was first performed at a Japan concert in April of the same year! It's amazing that he was already working on a variation of a new song that hadn't even been officially recorded yet... This alone shows Clapton's vigorous creativity. Moving on to the acoustic set, the title number from the 2005 album "BACK HOME" was played, Back Home. This song was also a super rare song that was only played at the beginning of the 2006 tour. Perhaps it also contains feelings for the people of Gaza who lost their homes. And surprisingly, there were daily changes in this acoustic set! The first acoustic song was Driftin' Blues, which was not played on the second day, but on the third day, in addition to that, they played one more original song, Golden Ring, from "BACKLESS" released in 1978. This was a number included in the project album "The Lady In The Balcony: Lockdown Sessions", which was recorded live in a studio at an old castle in England in 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic. It seems that he liked the acoustic arrangement there and performed it at this performance. It was the first time in 46 years since the 1978 tour that he played it at a concert live in front of an audience. Unfortunately, it is an incomplete recording, but this can be said to be the highlight of this day. The first shot after returning to the electric set is the powerful Dominos number, Got to Get Better in a Little While. It was also featured for the first time in a long time in the aforementioned "SAVE A CHILD Concert (For GAZA Children)", and Clapton was able to enjoy the dynamic play for the first time in a long time, so it is thought that he set it in. Sonny Emory's outstanding stick handling is also wonderful here. Then, he dropped Presence of the Lord from the Blind Faith era that he played on the first day, and played You Were There as on the second day. This dramatic number, included in the 1998 album "PILGRIM," was a tribute to his manager at the time. The only time this song was performed live was as an encore at Earl's Court in London on October 15 of that year. It's been 26 years since then. I also noticed when watching this close-up video that Clapton was intentionally playing with his fingers on "Little Queen Of Spades"! It's a very rare scene. You can enjoy the nuances of playing that only fingerpicking can create. Just when I thought there were no more surprises, Nathan East played a song called Close To Home, written by Lyle Mays, as a special performance before Cocaine as a prologue. And there was one more surprise at the very end. For the encore, Dhani Harrison, the only child of the late George Harrison, jumped in to play George's famous song Give Me Love. This is the same as the encore at the aforementioned "SAVE A CHILD Concert (For GAZA Children)", and Clapton invited Dhani. Dhani stayed behind and played Clapton's favorite blues song, Before You Accuse Me. Andy Fairweather Low, who was the opening act, jumped in here. While Clapton was always in a suit, Dhani was suddenly called in while relaxing in the dressing room, wearing shorts, a down vest and a cap, which made me laugh. Watching this, you can see that the artist Clapton put together a set list thinking of many things and many people. Of course, the most important thing is the desire to play, but it seems that he wanted to put his own feelings into it and perform it. His lost best friend, a world of constant war, his admired bluesman, his career so far. This set list and this fulfilling live performance were the result of various thoughts that came to Clapton's mind. This is the only day you can listen (watch) Give Me Love!
