The best audience shot video of the third day performance of the latest European tour, Royal Albert Hall! From Eric Clapton's latest 2024 European tour that finally began, we released a wonderful audience shot of the first day performance of the Royal Albert Hall in London on May 20th, but this week we will line up a wonderful audience shot of the third day performance at the same hall as a gift! You can follow up with the video of "Royal Albert Hall 2024 3rd & 4th Nights (4CDR)". The photographer was a person who purchased a VIP seat on the day, and at the beginning, he showed his VIP ticket and pass, and it started off as if the whole family went to see it, but the main part was a VIP seat, so it was a great angle shot from a special seat set up in the first floor stand about 30 degrees to the left of the stage. The close-up captures Clapton's whole body perfectly. Unfortunately, there are two songs missing, and some songs only have the beginning missing or fragments, but overall it is clear and easy to see, and the atmosphere of the live performance is very well understood. The encore, which featured a special guest, had a different shot from the main part, so we replaced it with this to improve the quality. The angle is almost the same as the main part, and it is a close-up shot from the front of the arena seats. During Give Me Love (Give Me Peace on Earth), which featured Dhani Harrison, a photo of George Harrison was projected on the screen at the venue, so the scene was inserted from a different shot only at the beginning. The scene is truly moving. It suggests that careful preparations were made when Dhani's sudden appearance was decided. Clapton's look was the same as on the first day, wearing a gray shirt and gray suit. He plays the Stratocaster painted in the colors of the Palestinian flag, which he used at the "SAVE A CHILD Concert (For GAZA Children)" charity concert in support of Gaza in December last year (the video has already been released on DVD in our shop). The big attraction of this tour is that the set list has been significantly changed from the previous year's tour, and many rare numbers are set, from newly written songs. Fans will be very happy just to be able to watch the latest stage with this high-quality video. The only change in band members is that the keyboard has been replaced by Paul Carrack, who has been replaced by Tim Carmon, a familiar member of Clapton's band, and the rest is the same as last year's tour. Therefore, the encore number has changed from High Time We Went, which featured Carrack in recent years, and it is a surprise! Surrounded by reliable and talented members who perform solid performances, Clapton shows a very fulfilling performance, including a surprise. The unexpected set list, which is different from last year's tour, is attractive! The opening is surprising. This instrumental song, titled Blue Dust, was dedicated to Jeff Beck, who passed away last year, and was a variation of Blue Rainbow, which was first performed at a Japan concert in April of the same year! It's amazing that he was already working on a variation of a new song that hasn't even been officially recorded yet... This alone shows Clapton's vigorous creativity. Moving on to the acoustic set, the title number from the 2005 album "BACK HOME" was played, Back Home. This song was also a super rare song that was only played at the beginning of the 2006 tour. Perhaps it also contains feelings for the people of Gaza who lost their homes. And surprisingly, there were daily changes in this acoustic set! The first acoustic song was Driftin' Blues, but on the third day, in addition to that, they played one more original song, Golden Ring, from "BACKLESS" released in 1978. This was a number included in the project album "The Lady In The Balcony: Lockdown Sessions", which was recorded live in a studio at an old castle in England in 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic. It seems that he liked the acoustic arrangement there and performed it at this performance. It was the first time in 46 years since the 1978 tour that he played it live in a concert in front of an audience. Unfortunately, it is an incomplete recording, but this is the highlight of the day, and it would be good if you could just watch the performance scene. The first shot after returning to the electric set is the powerful Dominos number, Got to Get Better in a Little While. It was also featured for the first time in a long time in the aforementioned "SAVE A CHILD Concert (For GAZA Children)", and Clapton also enjoyed the dynamic play for the first time in a long time, so it is thought that he set it in. Sonny Emory's outstanding stick handling is also amazing here. Then, after dropping Presence of the Lord from the Blind Faith era that was played on the first day, they played You Were There, which they played at the Liverpool concert on May 11th. This dramatic number, included in the 1998 album "PILGRIM," was a tribute to their manager at the time. This song was only performed live once in the past, at the encore of the Earl's Court concert in London on October 15th of the same year. It has been 26 years since then, and they played it. However, it is a pity that only fragments are recorded here. Just when I thought there were no more surprises, Nathan East played a song called Close To Home, written by Lyle Mays, as a special performance before Cocaine as a prologue. And there was still one more surprise at the very end. For the encore, Dhani Harrison, the only child of the late George Harrison, jumped in to play George's famous song Give Me Love. This is the same as the encore at the aforementioned "SAVE A CHILD Concert (For GAZA Children)", and Clapton invited Dhani. Dhani stayed behind and played Clapton's favorite blues song, Before You Accuse Me. Andy Fairweather Low, who was the opening act, jumped in here. While Clapton was always in a suit, Dhani was suddenly called in while relaxing in the dressing room, wearing shorts, a down vest and a cap, which made me laugh at how casual (uncool) he was. Watching this, you can see that the artist Clapton put together a set list thinking about many things and many people. Of course, at the root of it all is the desire to play, but it seems that he wanted to put his own feelings into it and perform it. His lost best friend, a world of constant war, his admired bluesman, his career so far. This set list and this fulfilling live performance were the result of various thoughts that came to Clapton's mind. This is the only day you can hear Golden Ring and Give Me Love!
