Our store has been releasing the best titles from Eric Clapton's 70th birthday concert at the Royal Albert Hall held in May, and has been gaining popularity, but this week is the 4th day of our online store. We will release original sound sources of valuable performances that are not available anywhere else! This edition uses the original sound source of a Japanese taper who went to England to see Clapton's RAH performance. This alone can be said to be a sensational event for Clapton mania. What's more, the sound quality is great! Until now, most of the RAH performances released by our store have been recorded by heavyweights living in the UK, but the original sound source provided through a new route is also as wonderful as the previous taper. As I mentioned earlier, this 4th day performance has not been uploaded to the internet yet, so it seems that many people, even enthusiasts, have not listened to it. There is no doubt that you will be pleased with that, but I would say that the value of this sound source is high for another reason. On the first day of this series of performances, Clapton, who had not yet recovered from the shock of the news of the death of B.B. King, who passed away on the 14th, sang the fourth verse of Little Queen of Spades, as if to squeeze out his soul, `` There was a topic where they chanted "BB King.... BB King..... BB King...." over and over again. While playing this slow blues, Clapton's feelings for B.B. must have reached their peak. Clapton dedicated the second and 15th performance to B.B., but that was not enough to satisfy his feelings. To write this part accurately, the original lyrics were as follows. Now, little girl, since I am the king, baby, and you is a queen Whoo hoo, since I am the king, baby, and you are a queen Let's us put our heads together, hoo fair brown, then we make our money green Clapton improvised this and resung it as BB King .... BB King ..... BB King .... BB King ..... BB King ....Our love….BB…. It is. At first, the audience did not understand what was going on, but as soon as they realized the meaning, they burst into excitement. Looking back, I met B.B. during an American tour during the Cream era in 1967, and even though he was white, he was noticed because of his playing spirit, and during an American tour during the Derek and the Dominos era in 1970. There was also a time when B.B. visited us every day. In 2000, Clapton, who had collaborated with B.B. many times over the years while deepening their friendship with B.B., finally realized and released the joint album "RIDING WITH THE KING". Since then, Clapton has invited B.B. to the "Crossroads Guitar Festival" and performed with him on stage many times. B.B. continued to be a role model bluesman whom Clapton respected and adored. Clapton has hinted at retiring from touring this time, but at one point he publicly stated, ``My goal is to stand on stage until I die, like B.B.'' However, in the end, Clapton realized that he could not continue that long. When Clapton, his junior colleague, heard the news of the great passing of B.B., a great figure that he realized he would never be able to overcome, he had to see him off without any regrets about his long relationship with B.B., but his mind was not organized to that extent. I guess it means there wasn't one. I can't help but think that the feelings that rose from the bottom of my heart led me to change the lyrics of this song that day. This song is the final expression of the bond between not only Clapton fans but also those who came before and those who came after, who transcended the color of their skin and communicated through music. Rock fans and blues fans can't avoid this. There is no doubt that this album will be another monumental title for those who love Clapton's music and himself, and in a sense this day was the most important in this series of RAH performances. Maybe. Although the set list was almost the same every day, Clapton's thoughts and spirit that were put into the stage on this day were also exceptional. I would like you to check the whole story on this board. Live at Royal Albert Hall, London, UK 18th May 2015 TRULY PERFECT SOUND(from Original Masters) Disc 1 (66:12) 1. Intro 2.
