The culmination of the best footage from the latest European tour, the three-day Royal Albert Hall performance! After a one-month interval from his Japan performance, Eric Clapton energetically performed eight European tours. Last week, we released a complete audience shot video of the first day's Nottingham performance, which was well received, but this week we will release a compilation album full of highlights, with the best footage of the three performances at the main London Royal Albert Hall (hereinafter RAH) performances that were held after that, edited in chronological order by our shop, and compiled into a three-disc set! This time there were only three RAH performances, but on the 23rd, the middle day, there was a surprising performance that could be called the "incident" of his live career. It was the first time in 50 years since the 1975 Australian performance that he played Let It Grow with an acoustic set! Moreover, this song was played only on this day of the eight performances! This work also includes this song from an angle from the front of the arena seats. This alone makes this film worthwhile, but in addition to that, it also captures Clapton wearing an ivory-colored suit on the first day of the RAH on the 21st, and thanks to the compilation of footage from various photographers, the result is a multi-camera composition. Since the footage of different songs from various photographers over three days is edited and spliced together in chronological order, it is not a complete version of the concert, but you can enjoy the best parts of the songs you want to listen to and watch for three days. The angle on the first day, the 21st, is mainly from the first floor stand about 30 degrees to the left of the stage, and after Cocaine, it is a close-up shot from the front seats of the arena. The former captures Clapton's whole body with no obstacles in front, and the latter captures Clapton with his waist up. The angle on the 23rd, the middle day, is an up-shot from the first floor stand about 30 degrees to the left of the stage and from the front of the arena seats. It captures Clapton's whole body. The highlight, Let It Grow, is a great performance. Doyle Bramhall's electric slide, which supports him, stirs up melancholy. Must see! It is valuable that Tell The Truth, which was not played on other days, is included on this day. Clapton wore a white shirt and a gray suit on this day (he took off his jacket from the middle of the show onwards). The angle on the final day, the 24th, is an up-shot from almost the center of the front facing the arena stage, with Clapton captured on his knees (the heads of the audience slightly forward are included in the bottom), as well as a shot from the first floor stand about 30 degrees to the right of the stage, capturing the entire stage. On this day, he wore a gray suit with a black shirt underneath. This is also cool. Considering that he is playing a Stratocaster painted in Palestine colors in this song, it seems that he used this guitar in the electric set after the acoustic set. It is also nice that Before You Accuse Me was recorded from the encore appearance scene on this day. In the middle part, you can see Clapton smiling towards Tim Carmon who is playing the organ solo, which is heartwarming. And of course, the scene where he plays a passage from Hideaway is also included. The image quality is very clear and there are no problems on all three days. The audio is also a good stereo audience recording. There are some overlapping songs, but Clapton's costumes are different and his playing is unique, so you can enjoy it without getting bored. Rather, it is full of excitement. Let It Grow, which was played only for one day, is extremely valuable. As mentioned in Clapton's autobiography, after the release of this song, someone said to him, "The chord progression from the opening is the same as Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven," and Clapton, who hated Jimmy Page, thought that this was a stingy thing, so he has not performed this song live since 1975. Why now? I would like to ask Clapton, but anyway, this song has been played for the first time in 50 years. Clapton fans will want to see it. Less than a month after his Japan tour, Clapton embarked on an energetic European tour. This is the latest video of Clapton still playing energetically at the advanced age of 80.
