London was held for 6 days in January 1987, and the first half of the performance at the Royal Albert Hall (6th to 8th) was recorded as a stereo audience recording of all performances. This is the first performance that has never been released before, but the unreleased original master cassette is used, and all three performances are recorded with ultra-high sound quality that you can't ask for any more! The edgy, straight and dynamic sound with almost no echoes typical of the Royal Albert Hall is so amazing it will give you goosebumps! (Only the Crossroads performance on the 7th will be recorded in monaural due to poor contact, but even that part is recorded with superb ultra-high sound quality) The performance on the 7th was a very good stereo audience only between traders. There are some sources that have been distributed, but all three performances from the 6th to the 8th, the first appearance source, and the highest sound quality, so this release can be said to be irresistible for fans! The set list is almost fixed, but Wanna Make Love To You is included only on the 6th performance. Despite the audience's good response and the high quality of both the song and the performance, for some reason it was later removed from the set list (it was revived as a standard song on the 1989 tour). With the official participation of Mark Knopfler, the band became a five-piece band, which had not been seen since the previous year in 1986 and the following year in 1988. (He volunteered to participate as a thank you for Clapton's participation in Dire Straits' Christmas concert at the end of 1985), but Knopfler's unique obbligato was very clear throughout the performance, especially in "I Shot". The many unique and tricky plays that only he can express on songs such as "The Sheriff", "Miss You", and "Layla" are a must-listen! Knopfler's participation inspired Eric's overwhelming solo on Leila (the 7th is Eric's mother's birthday, which Leila's last comment tells us about) on the 7th. Eric's aggressive play is also exploding throughout! On the 8th performance, Sting and Steve Winwood participated as guests in the encore Money For Nothing and Sunshine Of Your Love, which are also worth listening to. (Sting is believed to be only on vocals, but Winwood is probably participating on vocals and keyboards) It was the start of a series of performances at the Royal Albert Hall, which is synonymous with British performances, and is a must-see for fans. The ultimate item, which luxuriously packages the precious first appearance sound source with the ideal sound that you can't ask for any more, will be released on CD!
