We present the first appearance footage from Eric Clapton's "Journeyman US Tour"! Contains 8mm video master footage of good audience shots that have recently been uploaded on the internet. Speaking of August 28, 1990, it was a performance immediately after Stevie Ray Vaughan, who was touring with him, died in an unexpected accident (the day after). The shot is taken from the second floor stand seats, 45 degrees to the left of the front of the stage, and the image quality is very good. I've always been shooting mainly for Clapton, and I've captured his whole body in the frame. The clear image quality allows you to clearly see Clapton's facial expressions and his position on the frets. Occasionally shots of the members are also included, and it can be seen that both female chorus members were dressed in pure white. The screen is very clear as it has been digitized directly from the 8mm video master, but fortunately the audio is also of high quality and easy to listen to, with no digital noise caused by the master at 5:29 of Pretending. The same is true for online masters), but other than that there are no particular problems, and even if you are not a fan, you will be fascinated by Clapton's wonderful stage. (There are cuts at 4:56 of I Shot The Sheriff, the interlude and intro of Before You Accuse Me, and 2:36 and 3:45 of Badge due to tape changes or tape conditions, but these are analog cuts. (This is not a problem for viewing.) In any case, it is definitely a highly enjoyable video with good image quality and clear audio that includes everything from the "Layla Orchestra Intro" before the members appear to the encore. there is no. What is unusual is that Clapton, who used to wear Versace's black suit on this tour, is wearing a black short-sleeved T-shirt from the beginning. The climate in Kansas in late August must have been extremely hot. Speaking of the performance, Clapton and the band are showing a powerful performance as usual, which is hard to believe that it was a performance immediately after encountering a tragedy. That's no wonder, because the day before, Clapton gathered all the members and tour staff and decided to continue the tour with everyone's will. This is an excellent document that you can enjoy watching Clapton himself play and play to Ray Vaughn's chagrin. A high-quality 2-disc set that is a must-have for fans! !
