This video is a digest of the best parts of Eric Clapton's latest European tour, Milan and Nice! After a one-month break from his Japan tour, he embarked on an energetic eight-date European tour. The Paris performance, released as a fully recorded stereo audience recording titled "Paris 2025," has been well-received. Now, we present a compilation of the best digests from the Milan and Nice performances, which took place before and after the Paris performance. While smartphone photography has become commonplace in recent years, capturing a full stage performance with an iPhone is difficult, and photographers have increasingly focused on capturing their favorite songs. The second day of the sixth performance in Milan captures the second half of the set, beginning with the acoustic set "Tears In Heaven." The angle is a comfortable shot from the second-floor stands about 30 degrees to the left of the stage, capturing Clapton's entire body perfectly. "Old Love" is shot from the third-floor stands about 30 degrees to the right of the stage, overlooking the entire stage and occasionally capturing the screen above it. "Little Queen of Spades" was shot by the same photographer as "Tears in Heaven," capturing the entire stage and a clear shot of Clapton with his knees up at maximum zoom. "Cocaine" was shot by the same photographer as "Old Love" and has a similar composition. The final performance in Nice, France, on the tour, is well-structured with the first, middle, and end sections well-composed. The opening "White Room" is shot from the first-floor stands about 30 degrees to the left of the stage, capturing a perfect view of the entire stage. It's nice to be able to watch it from the opening. "Sunshine of Your Love" is shot from the second-floor stands about 45 degrees to the right of the stage, capturing a clear view of the entire stage. Tears In Heaven and Old Love were shot from the third-floor stands about 60 degrees to the left of the stage, capturing a full view of the stage plus the screen above. While the footage is a bit far away, it's easy to see. Cocaine is shot from the second-floor stands about 45 degrees to the right, capturing a full view of the stage. The encore, Before You Accuse Me, was shot by the same cameraman as Tears In Heaven and Old Love. It's worth noting that the footage captures the appearance of legendary guitarist John McLaughlin (formerly of the Mahavishnu Orchestra). At Clapton's request, he takes the first solo (McLaughlin also plays a Stratocaster). The transition from piano to Doyle's second solo to organ solo to Clapton's solo is clearly captured (as is Hideaway, of course). McLaughlin has been invited to perform at Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival and the Jeff Beck Tribute Concert, both of which he organized, so it seems he has maintained a close relationship with Clapton in recent years.
