From Eric Clapton's 1975 US tour, an upgraded version of the rare performance audience source is now available. The date is August 27th, and the venue is Indianapolis. The sound source of this day was only a small amount of CD-R boot distributed from the bad sound tape trader source. We have exclusively obtained the longest and best master of the day. We have achieved a significant upgrade by applying high-quality mastering to it. Its advantages over existing sound sources are (1) the sound quality is definitely better; The existing sound sources generally have sound fluctuations due to tape deterioration, indicating that the generation was quite high. Although the sound image is monaural like the previous releases, this version does not have that at all, and the clarity is different. (2) It is the longest master that includes a long recording before and after the tape change parts that can be seen in several places, allowing you to enjoy the concert that day more realistically. (3) The pitch, which was incorrect in the existing sound source due to tape deterioration and high generation, is accurate in this master. These are the three points above. Since this difference is clear, this board can be declared as the definitive version of this day. Of course, the flaw is that the sound quality of the opening part of Let It Rain from 0:13 to 0:32 is muffled due to the deterioration of the master tape, but this is not a big problem. Furthermore, it was discovered that Blues Power, which was cut off in the middle on the existing sound source, was recorded as a duplicate of the 8:00~ and 8:30~ parts on the existing sound source, but on this version, it was recorded in its original state. It connects smoothly. Also, it is noteworthy that Tell The Truth, which was missing the intro in the existing sound source, is completely recorded. The setlist that day was full of variety, typical of the 1975 tour, and you can hear a rare take of Better Make It Through Today from the new album "There's One In Every Crowd" played on electric. In addition, it was a tour that played Eyesight To The Blind in the usual encore, but on this day you can enjoy co-starring with Clapton and Carlos Santana who jumped in with the rare numbers Little Wing and Carnival. However, since it wasn't the usual blues-like number, Santana seemed to be more taken aback, and I don't hear many plays featuring him. That's also fun. The encore, of course, includes drum and percussion solos by Jamie Oldaker and Sergio Rodriguez. Clapton on this day is still drunk, but his playing is clear and you can hear sharp phrasing everywhere. Usually, a featuring number of female singer Marcy Levy would have been played, but this master also does not include it like the existing sound source. Considering that the encore is included, there is a possibility that her number was not played on this day. In that case, it can be said that this board is the longest complete recording board that achieved the highest sound quality ever on this day.
