Eric Clapton's latest European tour sound source, Mannheim performance in Germany on June 24th, was released as "Live In Mannheim 2014", but this time, it will be released from a completely different superb master! Of course, the sound quality is, as I said, ``excellent'', a stereo audience recording that boasts outstanding clarity and sound balance. The entire story is recorded with an incomparable level of sound quality. The reason for this seems to be that the master of this disc was recorded with a high-performance microphone called "AKG CK63" and the recording position at the venue was good. Therefore, the sound quality was excellent even with the master, but although it was powerful, the sound was quite close to the low range, so the high frequencies (snare and hi-hat) were somewhat lacking. Therefore, we adjusted the sound balance through mastering by our exclusive engineer to make it even easier to listen to. In other words, this board, which is a further upgrade of the master, can be declared to be the best Mannheim sound source. You can understand its excellence if you say that the sound quality is comparable to the press 2CD "NEW ORLEANS JAZZ & HERITAGE FESTIVAL 2014" which recorded the festival sound source in New Orleans from the American tour in April released recently by our store. In this European tour, in addition to the New Orleans performance, Tears In Heaven has been revived in place of Robert Johnson's blues Stones In My Passway, which was played in the acoustic set during the American tour. Since it's a popular song, it's natural that this one would be better received by fans. However, if you take a look at the set list, this song, Cocaine, and Layla are the only pop numbers that can be called hits, and the rest are all blues or blues-based originals and covers (Wonderful Tonight was also played). (not included). Looking at this, this tour, which Clapton himself has positioned as the final chapter of his career, can truly be called a return tour to show his love for the blues and J.J. Cale, for whom he has staked his entire career. It has become. For this reason, it can be said that this band, which is the opposite of the flashy and extravagant bands like the ones on the 2006 tour, has a deep flavor to it, featuring the humble British session guys who have been playing with them for a long time. I feel like that. Still, the second guitarist, Andy Fairweather Rowe, who exudes an easy-going style befits a leader, is captured in many moments when he plays with much higher tension than his playing, and even though he has withered away, he still has an aggressive tone. It is also a stage to peek into. Please enjoy the latest live performance that captures Clapton's unique performance, which can be called a modern version of laid-back music, with this record that achieves the highest sound quality.
