From Eric Clapton's "Fifty Years - Further On Up The Road Tour (50th Anniversary Tour)", we will release a superb sound source recorded completely from the original stereo DAT master of the Cologne performance in Germany on June 15th, the final stage of the tour. Speaking of the Cologne performance, there was an online upload sound source that was also used for the previous item, but this is a superb sound quality that makes you feel the difference between heaven and earth. The master was recorded directly on site by a friend living in Europe of the person who always provides us with the sound source of the UK performance in our network. In addition to being very clear, you can feel the graininess of one of the best sounds on this tour. As a sound quality judgment of the audience source on this tour, our staff uses as indicators the sound of the acoustic guitar of the opening Hello Old Friend, the clarity of Steve Jordan's drums, the tone and balance of the two guitars in the intro of Gotta Get Over, the clarity of the drum sound, the outline of the drum sound in the intro of Got To Get Better In A Little While, the snare, bass drum, the prominence of cymbals, and the sound pressure of Clapton's guitar. Judging from that, the sound quality of this board can be said to be the highest level of sound quality that clears all the judgment points in these three songs. There is no unnecessary echo (reverberation) that makes you feel the distance between the recording position and the stage, which is common in the audience source of this tour, and not only the sound of each instrument but also Clapton's vocals are directly approaching, and Jordan's bass drum is also decided. There are three masters for the sound source of this Cologne performance, including the bonus title that comes with the first pressing of this board (with numbering sticker), the source that was uploaded to the Internet in the early days of the gift item, and the master of this board. Among them, the original master used for this board is the best. The superb sound quality that captures even the unclear bass drum in the other two masters allows you to clearly hear the entanglement of each fine instrument that cannot be enjoyed in the previous gift item. The performance is stable and stable at the end of the tour, and the quality is kept at a high level. The daily numbers for this day are I Shot The Sheriff and Lay Down Sally in the acoustic set. The highlights are Clapton's solo in the latter's aftertaste and the simple arrangement in the latter. Of course, the numbers in the regular set cover the entire career from the Cream era to the latest album, and present the complete formation of the concept of arranging Robert Johnson's blues three consecutive times at the end of the tour. Along with the Florida and Hollywood performances at the end of this year's American tour and the Birmingham performance at the beginning of the European tour, this is sure to be one of the best three titles of this year's tour, so please enjoy this edition that captures the end of the European tour.
