From the 1974 "Comeback Tour", the European tour that took place after the Japan performance, and the Ludigshaven performance in Germany on November 28th are completely recorded from the audience master that appeared for the first time. There is a previously released version of the sound source of this day that includes a monaural audience source, but this first generation master that was uploaded on the internet this time is a completely different source. The reason for this is that while the previously released edition is an incomplete recording that only contains from Can't Find My Way Home to Layla, this edition is a complete recording. The sound image is also completely different. This version is clearly clearer and the outline of the sound is clearer than the previously released version, which was described as having an "average" sound quality in the data book "Live File 1". The biggest feature is that the sound has been upgraded to a clearer and more balanced sound through advanced mastering. The original sound source had a sense of distortion due to excessive input or tape deterioration, and the midrange was overhanging, so the separation of each instrument was unclear. Therefore, we suppressed the midrange and adjusted the balance with the high range. As a result, each instrument and vocal became slightly clearer, making it easier to listen to as a whole. The pitch was also randomly shifted, so it has been corrected. If you have downloaded it, you will be able to easily understand the upgrade of this version by listening and comparing. The original sound source had a tape change at 11:21 in Blues Power and 9:32 in Little Wing, but these have been smoothly processed. According to a comment from the person who posted this master on the internet, the original reel tape has already been erased, and this is the first generation copy given to this person. Therefore, it can be said that this album, which is the youngest and best sound source in existence and has been further upgraded by mastering, is the best sound source on this day. Although it is a comeback tour famous as a drunken tour, Clapton's play quality on this day is high and the performance is lively. It was a precious day to be playing Elmore James's It Hurts Me Too, which seems to be the only song on this tour, and the slow blues medley that changes keys from there is the biggest highlight. . Clapton, who plays a phrase full of emotion on Jimi Hen's Little Wing, is also attractive. Also, the parts that could not be heard on the previous release are interesting, the mellowness of Let It Grow and the momentum of Little Queenie are wonderful, but I Shot The starts with an irregular intro jam, relying on the band's ride. Sheriff is also an unusual take. When you listen to this, you can see that Clapton had complete trust in the band, and it's a very interesting take that makes you wonder what kind of eye contact he made to whom when he started the song. is. This is the best of the new master where you can enjoy such first public parts.
