The band's 24th visit to Japan, their first in two years, included two additional performances at the Nippon Budokan, and included a total of eight performances. The second day, April 16th, was fully recorded using a unidirectional MK4 audience recording, and a DVD edition with high-quality audience shots of the live performance on that day was released in 2CD+1DVD format. First of all, the sound source for this day was recorded from the front row in the center of the A block of the arena using the highest quality MK4 microphone, capturing the live sound of the lustrous instruments and the sound of the monitor speakers installed on the stage with the sharp and pure sound quality unique to a single supreme microphone, and the sound, which is perfectly balanced and separated from all the parts, especially the guitar, is also a major point because it does not bother with annoying audience noise such as excessive applause. Furthermore, the DVD footage was recorded from the iF West Stand, and was a good shot that captured the entire stage stably from start to finish. As fans who attended the venue know, the security checks before the show were quite strict all day, and the lighting on the stage was also much darker than usual, so although the images were somewhat lacking in clarity due to the lack of light, you could watch the whole show without stress. Moreover, the audio part was synchronized with the MK4 audience source on the CD, and the quality, including the audio, was a world apart from fragmented footage on YouTube. This day, which was sold out just like the first day, also started with a number that showed their passionate enthusiasm, "White Room," and then closed the first half of the electric set with "Sunshine of Your Love," and the venue was already heating up by this point. After that, they moved to an acoustic set, and performed "The Call" and "Motherless Child" from their latest album "MEANWHILE" in a slightly calmer style. It seemed like they would continue with the same flow as the first day, but instead of "Golden Ring," they played "Can't Find My Way Home," featuring Nathan East's vocals, instead, and as a result, this was the only set change from the first day. After that, they closed the acoustic set with "Tears in Heaven" for the Japanese fans, and from the second half of "Badge," they continued with the same passionate performance as the first day, and the ending from the spectacular solo in "Cocaine" was so good that it was hard to believe that they had turned 80 years old. Just like the first day, this is a must-have memorial item for fans visiting Japan. Live at Nippon Budokan, Tokyo, Japan 16th April 2025 : ORIGINAL MASTER : MK4 Audience Recording / Original HQ.
