The 24th visit to Japan, the first in two years, was a total of eight performances, including two additional performances at the Nippon Budokan. The memorable first day performance on the 14th was fully recorded with an IEM matrix, and a DVD edition with high-quality audience shots of the live performance on that day was released in 2CD+1DVD format. First of all, the drummer was wearing in-ear monitors only on the first day of the Budokan performance, and this title is a mix of the line sound source (IEM source) and the high-quality omnidirectional audience sound source. The audience sound source was also recorded in the center of the Arena A block with perfect sound balance, and in addition, the IEM sound source was matrixed mainly to neatly shape the contours of the vocal parts, resulting in a live sound that can be described as the ultimate audience sound source. Furthermore, the DVD footage was recorded from the front of the iF stand, and there were almost no obstacles, so it was a stable and good shot from start to finish. As fans who went to the venue know, the security check before the show was quite strict all day, and the lighting on the stage was much darker than usual, so although the clarity was somewhat lacking due to the lack of light, you could watch it to the end almost stress-free. Moreover, the audio part was synchronized with the CD IEM matrix source, and the quality, including the audio, was a world apart from fragmented videos on YouTube. And as the first concert of 2025, and the expectations of the sold-out audience were rising as to what kind of performance Clapton, who turned 80 the previous month, would show, the concert started with a number that made you feel his enthusiasm, "White Room", and then the first half of the electric set was closed with "Sunshine of Your Love", and the venue was already heating up by this point. After that, they moved to an acoustic set, and in a somewhat calmer mood, they performed "The Call" from their latest album "MEANWHILE" for the first time in Japan, followed by "Golden Ring" from "BACKLESS", which was a hot topic during the previous year's tour, and finally, as if responding to their feelings for their Japanese fans, they closed the acoustic set with "Tears in Heaven", which was a moving and tear-jerking song. Then, starting with "Badge", the second half of the show featured a series of impressive solos and vocals, from classic numbers to blues covers, and they also performed "Wonderful Tonight", which they had declared they would never play again, with a lot of emotion for their Japanese fans. This is a Japan-only memorial item that allows you to enjoy the energetic appearance and passionate performance of this man, who is hard to believe he is 80 years old, once again through sound and video.
