The full recording of the Manchester, UK performance on May 18th from the 2024 Euro Tour was made from the high-quality audience master released by Taper, and lasted for 1 hour and 32 minutes. First of all, the recording was done using the latest digital equipment, and since the venue is the largest capacity in the UK as an arena that has just opened, the sound equipment is excellent, so the sound is clear and well balanced, especially Clapton's vocals and guitar. And the charm of this tour is that the set contents have changed quite a bit from the past, and it starts with this instrumental number titled "Blue Dust". This is a variation of "Blue Rainbow", which was dedicated to Beck, who passed away the previous year, and was first performed at the Japan performance in April of the same year, and it has already become a big topic because it has not even been officially recorded yet. And the last song of the first half of the electric set is the new song "Prayer of a Child", which was released with new lyrics to the instrumental song that was played at the venue at the beginning of the Gaza support charity concert in December of the previous year. In addition, during the acoustic set, they performed "Golden Ring" from "BACKLESS" in an acoustic arrangement, "Holy Mother" was played for the first time on this tour since returning to electric, and the biggest surprise was "Sunshine of Your Love" appeared for the second time on this tour at the end of the encore, which naturally made the venue very excited. It was surprising that the two major classics "Layla" and "Wonderful Tonight" were not performed on this tour, but the performances are full of satisfaction and do not feel out of place, so this is a must-listen item for fans who can look forward to their next visit to Japan.
