This work was a title that completely recorded the Dodger Stadium performance in Los Angeles on August 30th from the “Unplugged Tour” held in the summer of 1992 with a high-quality stereo audience recording. Our shop has already released the definitive version of this day using the original master, but this work was also quite a high-quality title. In addition to the clarity, the sound balance of each instrument is also exquisite. Even in an environment where sound is diffused, such as a baseball field without a roof, everything from high to low frequencies is miraculously recorded in a well-balanced manner. The stereo effect is also sufficient. 1992 was the year Clapton made a comeback from the depths of disappointment after losing his son in an unexpected accident the previous year. At the end of the previous year, they made a comeback with a Japan tour with George Harrison, and the following year, in early 1992, they performed several soulful songs on "Unplugged," using the same backing band from that time. This was the main tour (although only one female backing chorus was a pinch hitter). Although it was an “unplugged tour,” Tears In Heaven was the only one that was actually set in, and an acoustic sitting set was inserted in the middle for this one song. The rest of the song was an exciting selection of songs that were played electronically. From the opening White Room, you can hear an amazing play that is on the verge of overloading the guitar solo. The solo "Naki" heard in Old Love is guaranteed to make you cringe. Clapton, who was prepared to live with his son's death rather than overcome it, seems to have gained one more dignity. What's interesting is the encore Sunshine Of Your Love. Just before entering Steve Ferrone's drum solo, a jam session is developed with a phrase that seems like an idea. However, the drums were in perfect synchronization, so it was probably not an improvisation. This song with such a pattern is rare. Unfortunately, however, it faded out just as the percussion solo was about to return to the theme. The tape probably ran out of space (it would have gone all the way if it had had one more minute). However, the entire play on this day was amazing! I hope you can feel Clapton's brave appearance from this work, who has made a wonderful return to tour and played aggressively again.
