The title includes the first appearance of the audience master from the 1979 performance. After the release of "Backless", the tour that took place over about two years started with a four-piece band in 1978, then from March to June 1979, it became a five-piece band with Albert Lee, and from October to December, including the Japan performance, it transformed into a pure British band with Albert Lee remaining and replacing the rhythm section and keyboard, and from May of the following year, it became a six-piece band with Gary Brooker added, and four major member changes were made. This performance started in October with a new member, and the first day of the European / Far East tour leading to "JUST ONE NIGHT" was recorded almost completely in Vienna on October 6, 1979, with an audience recording. The performance during this period, which was performed by a new band made up entirely of British people, featured a tasteful play supported by a steady backing, and you can listen to a performance that has changed the atmosphere completely from before the member change. The many blues tunes feature a crunch sound unique to this period, with pedal wah to emphasize it, and a fleeting slide that forcibly brings it to sustain because of this sound, and many other phrases that freely express emotions are deployed. In particular, the various phrases from the narrow block position that can be heard everywhere can be said to be a play that symbolizes E.C.'s sense of this period. The sound quality is recorded using a master recorded with an open reel, and is quite high quality for this period. There is a minimal interruption due to tape changes between the songs of "Double Trouble", but it is surprising that a master of this quality was unearthed from the 1979 performance, where almost no good sound quality sources have been found, and it will be a title that will remind you of the tour with a weak impression.
