From the 2024 South American tour, the live performance in Buenos Aires, Argentina on September 20th, the first day of the tour, was recorded almost in full for 1 hour and 48 minutes with a good audience shot. This was taken with a digital camera from the front of the stage in the front row of the arena seats, which was made public by the owner, and Clapton was captured well through the gaps in the heads of the audience in front. Although there are some parts that are blurred or out of focus, the angle is almost stable with Clapton as the main focus, and the sound is also good quality stereo audience. First of all, it was expected that the composition would be based on the set of the European tour before the summer of the same year, but anyway it was surprisingly largely replaced and the set list had many rare numbers, and the show started with "Sunshine Of Your Love", which is usually played around the encore. The first song of the acoustic set, which includes "Badge" and others, was "Kind Hearted Woman Blues" for the first time since their 2023 Japan tour, followed by an unplugged version of "Running On Faith," which was surprising enough up to this point. The next song was "The Call," which will be included in the new album that was just announced for release, and was performed live. In addition, "Change The World" was performed for the first time in 21 years since their 2003 Japan tour, "Lonely Stranger" for the first time since 1992's "Unplugged," and "Believe In Life," a song from 2001's "REPTILE" that has never been performed live, so it was full of surprises. And when they returned to the electric set, the first song in the second half was YMO's "Behind The Mask," which was also performed live for the first time in 36 years since the 1988 "Prince's Trust Concert." After that, the set continued as usual in recent years, ending with "Cocaine," which was already a satisfying performance, and for the encore, Gary Clark Jr., who was the opening act that day, joined in and performed a solo with Clapton to end the set. In any case, the sheer number of rare numbers and their playing give you a sense of Clapton's tireless spirit of challenge, making this a must-see item for fans.
