The concert at Madison Square Garden in New York, which was held on October 20th and 21st, 2000, attracted a lot of attention as a greatest hits live performance with a parade of hit songs up to that time, and was later released on DVD as the official live album "ONE NIGHT ONLY". This title contains two different versions from the official one, both of which are master quality and coupling with professional shot footage. First, DISC:1 contains the full version released in the archive series "CLASSIC CONCERT SERIES" on the official website in 2020 for 2 hours and 32 minutes. This is the same content as the official video, but it has been newly mastered with modern digital technology on the original master in the official collection, so the quality is different from the video from 20 years ago, and it is definitely the highest peak of complete official quality. Additionally, DISC:2 contains the TV version that was broadcast domestically in 2001. Since this is a digest of the actual live performance, the recording time is short and it does not reach the quality of DISC:1, but it does include valuable behind-the-scenes footage and, since it was broadcast in Japan, the narration and Elton's MC are fully subtitled, which is a nice touch. The live performance features a greatest hits compilation of their career from their debut to the '90s, as well as a repertoire exclusive to that year, the Beatles' "Come Together." There are also special guest appearances, with six guests including Billy Joel and Bryan Adams performing one song each.
