The legendary TV show "OLD GREY WHISTLE TEST". The pre-broadcast master has leaked. This historic excavation video has been released urgently. EL&P's "OLD GREY WHISTLE TEST" is famous as a super masterpiece video that conveys the appearance of the golden age. Our shop has loved the superb rebroadcast version "ON TOUR 1973" for many years. However, this work is not a rebroadcast, but an unreleased master that was only inside the broadcasting station. It is a working master with a time counter on the screen. Of course, the vivid visual beauty that is different from the air check is also noteworthy, but that's not all. It includes super rare scenes that were not broadcast and related artist editions, and while the broadcast version of "ON TOUR 1973" was just under an hour, you can enjoy plenty of super valuable footage with a large volume of over three hours. This work starts with the familiar "THE MANTICORE SPECIAL", but from there, the beauty is astounding. The sweet vintage feel of the broadcast version is gone, and the colors are incredibly vivid. Of course, it's completely different from the forced emphasis of mastering, and the detailed edges are super clear. The beauty of the images is truly something that can only be seen in pre-broadcasts. With that beauty of the images, the scenes of the 1977 Memphis performance, the Montreal performance with the orchestra, the 1972 Korakuen, and the 1970 Lyceum Ballroom are also depicted... Even the familiar promos are a valuable version. "Fanfare For The Common Man" is performed in a snow-covered stadium, but the opening scene of playing in the snowy fields has been added to make it a long version. Particularly wonderful is the appearance of the TV program "PIANO PARTY" hosted by Oscar Peterson. Keith Emerson introduces the piano rotation scene of the 1974 California Jam, but the live performance is a must-see. Carl Palmer and Keith play "Honky Tonky Train Blues" to the "keyboard king", but what happens next is even more amazing. Keith and Peterson talk, and then he plays a double piano with Peterson. Peterson, who was a virtuoso and conservative, and the rider of progressive rock, the most innovative music of our time. Keith is famous for his fusion with classical music, but this is the best video of him confronting the jazz master, who is his other root, head-on. Some enthusiasts may have only seen it on TV programs, but this is a pre-broadcast version with a time counter. You can witness a precious performance with a fiercely vivid picture quality. Well, it's been two hours and nine minutes so far. I'm already full, but this work is not over yet. In addition, there is another hour of related footage collected by core enthusiasts. First of all, KING CRIMSON. The legendary silent footage from Hyde Park in 1969 is also included in the highest quality, and you can also watch an interview with Greg talking about Crimson. After that, there is the "ROME POP FESTIVAL 1968" where THE NICE and PINK FLOYD appeared, then there are the "stars of the Manticore label" PFM, REFUGEE, "the remnants of THE NICE + Patrick Moraz", TRACE, also known as "EL&P of the Netherlands" (live "Gaillarde" right after their debut!), and other precious videos that go a step further and are of the highest quality are played one after another. Among these videos, the last one is a bit strange, Alice Cooper. If it was Peter Gabriel, who is connected to Bob Ezrin, I would understand, but why EL&P...? Although such a question arises, this is also a valuable 1971 studio live. This is an interesting take that gives a glimpse of the backstage of the "OLD GREY WHISTLE TEST" recording that is repeated many times. In any case, it is a masterpiece that is filled with precious and exquisite pre-broadcast footage for 3 hours and 7 minutes. In addition to the visual beauty that comes with a pre-master, it is a whole package that also includes the "era" including related bands and the backstage of the program. Old Grey Whistle Test Rare Pre-broadcast Collection (with time counters) PRO-SHOT★Commercial intro and time counter included (direct recording of OGWT broadcast material master video stored at BBC).
