2 DVDs containing full shots of the best audience at New York's traditional venue "Radio City Music Hall 2 DAYS" will be released! "Radio City Music Hall" in Manhattan is the world's largest hall venue, boasting a history of over 80 years. Many people may remember the iconic neon signboard from its many live productions, as well as the award ceremony for the musical Tony Awards and the MTV Video Music Awards. The reunited ELP will arrive at such a traditional venue. Yes, so to speak, this work is the American version of “LIVE AT THE ROYAL ALBERT HALL”. It was a concert four months after the recording of the official "LIVE AT THE ROYAL ALBERT HALL", and the nuances of the performance are quite close, but whereas the official was an incomplete recording with many cuts, this work is an audience, Completely recorded over 2 days, you can enjoy the full experience for about 4 hours. What's more, the photographer knows everything about the band and captures every highlight so you can't take your eyes off him. It's so full you'll feel like you've eaten three meals at once. When I play Disc 1, the screen shakes in the distance and I flinch for a moment, thinking, ``Is this not okay?'' but it quickly stabilizes. You will be drawn into the beauty of the visuals, which are filled with close-ups of each member's facial expressions. Of course, since it is a one-camera audience with video recording, it is impossible to say that “the image quality is on par with Albert Hall!”, but it is valuable because the footage from 22 years ago can be seen so beautifully. Due to the lighting, the colors in Keith's close-ups are particularly good, and the quality is such that a staff member who came over to check out this work took a moment to look at it and said, "Huh? Is this a TV broadcast?" When I play Disc 2 instead, ``Tarkus'' is played against the backdrop of the cover screen for ``Terrifying Brain Reform'' (it looks like it, but it's a little different). Apparently, the beginning could not be recorded, but the live video appears after about a minute and a half. After that, I was worried about the blurry image and the unsteady angle, but it stabilized after about 3 minutes. It will be full of beautiful zooms with outstanding stability just like Disc 1. Up to this point, it seems like Disc 1 will be the winner, but I actually recommend Disc 2. After all, the sound is good. Disc 1 had a good enough sound, but the clarity of Disc 2 is even better. Furthermore, you can watch “From The Beginning” and “Nutrocker” which are not on Disc 1! "Nutrocker" in particular is a song that I'm happy about because it wasn't seen in the 1992 Japan performance. The opening that starts with "Tarkus" is a production unique to 1993, but especially on disc 2, you can see a scene where the fireworks are successfully set off with an action using the ribbon controller and jump into the audience seats. In addition, you can enjoy plenty of scenes unique to 1993, such as “Touch And Go”, “Hoedown”, and Keith bringing out the accordion in “C’est La Vie”. The reunited ELP performs magnificently at a traditional American venue. This 2-disc set brings back the excitement you once experienced at the official "LIVE AT THE ROYAL ALBERT HALL" with a different and realistic record.
