The era of "terrible brain reform" was when the most powerful keyboard trio in rock history was at its peak. A treasured master who can experience the scene is now available. What is inscribed in this work is “May 25, 1974 Rotterdam performance”. It is an exquisite audience recording that vacuum-packs the entire image. EL&P made its shocking debut in 1970 and took the scene by storm non-stop. It ran straight through until 1974. After that, they restarted in 1977 after a hiatus, but they never regained their former strength and brilliance. The era of ``terrifying brain reform'' was not only a golden age of commerce, but also the ``end of sprinting''. First of all, let’s look back at the tour schedule of “End” and check the show’s position. 1973, March 30th - May 4th: Europe #1 (22 performances) [``Brain Reform of Fear'' released on November 19th], November 14th - December 18th: North America #1 (30 performances) ) 1974, January 24th - April 6th: North America #2 (34 performances) ← *LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, April 18th - May 2nd: UK (9 performances), May 7th - June 2nd: Europe #2 (20 performances) ←★Coco★・July 26th-August 31st: North America #3 (18 performances) [“Ladies and Gentlemen” released on August 19th] This is 1973 / 1974 EL&P. "Europe #1" was the final part of the "TRILOGY Tour", and after that they produced "Brain Reform of Fear". A new world tour began around the time of the release. The symbol of this tour is the official version “Ladies and Gentlemen”, but the Rotterdam performance of this work is about three months after that traditional work. This was the 14th concert of "Europe #2". This work recorded at such a show is an audience recording with plenty of direct feeling. Although the audience recording is engraved in the slightly thick hall sound, the core with no sense of distance approaches in front of you, and the details can be clearly understood down to the minute details. Above all, the listening response is overwhelming, with no sense of sparseness, and you can almost feel the mass of the "sound", which physically should be nothing but vibrations in the air. What is depicted with such dynamic sound is a full show that makes you feel the wind at its peak with your whole body. The set is also slightly different from "Ladies and Gentlemen", so let's compare and organize it here. Classics Emerson Lake and Palmer: Take a Pebble/Lucky Man Tarkus Pictures at an Exhibition (★) Trilogy: Hoedown Horror Brain Reform Jerusalem/Toccata/Still... You Turn Me On / Benny the Bouncer (★) / Karn Evil 9 1st Impression / Karn Evil 9 2nd Impression / Karn Evil 9 3rd Impression *Note: "★" mark cannot be heard on the traditional version "Ladies and Gentlemen" song. ...and it looks like this. The flow is roughly similar to "Ladies and Gentlemen", but "Benny the Bouncer" is performed instead of "Jeremy Bender / The Sheriff", and "Pictures at an Exhibition" is also played at the end. Particularly valuable is “Benny the Bouncer,” a rare song that was only played at very limited shows on this tour. Moreover, by including this song, all the songs of “Terrifying Brain Reform” will be played. In other words, this work is also a live performance/expanded version of “Terrifying Brain Reform”. Everyone has thought about it at least once: ``A live performance of all the songs of the terrifying brain reform''. This is a new excavated live album that allows you to experience this precious scene with dynamic sound. A new masterpiece where the potential of the band that created the historical masterpiece overflows from the speakers. Exquisite audience recording of "May 25, 1974 Rotterdam Performance". In any case, the core, which has no sense of distance, approaches right in front of your eyes, and along with that, you can clearly see even the smallest details. Above all, the listening response is overwhelming, without any sense of sparseness, and it feels so direct that you can almost feel the mass of the "sound", which physically should be nothing but vibrations in the air. The precious "Benny the Bouncer" that could not be heard in "Ladies and Gentlemen" was performed, and as a result, all the songs of "Terrifying Brain Reform" were played. This is a newly discovered live album that is also an expanded version of "Brain Reform of Fear". Live at Ahoy, Rotterdam, Netherlands 25th May 1974 TRULY AMAZING/PERFECT SOUND Disc 1(71:41) 1.
