April 23rd from GET ME A LADDER TOUR in 1973, Germany is the best audience recording and complete recording of the Muenster performance. It was recorded for about 2 hours with surprisingly good sound quality for the time, and although it is the first time it has appeared, it is a high-quality disc that can definitely be said to be a must-have for all ELP sound source collectors. At around the 11 minute mark of Tarkus, there is a part where the sound of the microphone is played overlapping, and after that there is a part where the sound becomes a little muffled for about a minute (11:10-12:12), but other than that, both the sound image and sound quality are good. It's stable and very listenable. In particular, the splendor of the sound quality in the second half of the show, which is disc 2, is noteworthy. In Aquatarkus, only during this period, Emerson improvises with Carl and Greg's unusual rhythm in the background, so it is an interesting part that can only be heard during this period. Karn Evil 9, which is unfinished at this point, is full of momentum and enthusiasm, and you can listen to a wonderful play where the entire band is in the groove. (Keith's synth at 4:30 is strange and interesting as it seems unfinished) After this, you can also listen to the familiar Jeremy Bender / The Sheriff medley from "Ladies & Gentlemen". The sound quality is originally good, but as mentioned above, it gets even better in the second half, and you can enjoy Hoedown, which is rarely played in the middle of the show, with a wonderful sound. “Pictures at an Exhibition” has a unique arrangement before jumping into Curse Of Baba Yaga, and Keith’s spectacular synth play on “Kiev Daimon” is also a must-listen. Greg's passionate singing of the same song is also moving. The first encore is the extremely intense Toccata, which features Karl's 15-minute drum solo, and leads to the familiar Rondo, a set unique to this period. Introducing a must-have title for enthusiasts that you can enjoy for about 2 hours. Live at Munsterlandhalle, Munster, Germany 23rd April 1973 TRULY AMAZING SOUND Disc 1 1. Introduction 2. Tarkus 3.
