The Eagles' 1979 Tokyo final performance title "BUDOKAN FINAL 1979" using high-quality original sound source is now available! "Hotel California" was an unprecedented hit all over the world, and the live performance on September 25th, the last day of the Budokan performance, which took place during the second Japan tour at the height of their popularity in 1979, was recorded in full with the highest level of audience recording. The song selection is exactly the best of Eagles, and from the opening Hotel California to the venue announcement after the show, a number of masterpieces are recorded in the highest quality sound at the time. This is the first live performance of the world tour accompanying "The Long Run", and three songs from the new work are performed live. After the Lyin' Eyes performance, new member Timothy is introduced and I Can't Tell You Why, which he wrote, is played. In the middle of the show, Turn To Stone, Life's Been Good and Joe Walsh's numbers are performed. After the main set ended with the familiar Rocky Mountain Way, the tape dropped (this part was faded) and the encore three songs (Take It Easy, Tequila Sunrise, The Best Of My Love) were performed. The sound quality of these three songs is slightly lower than the main set, probably because the recorder position was changed. This is probably because the audience stood up during the encore and blocked the microphone, but the sound quality is still more than enough. The large applause during Tequila Sunrise and The Best Of My Love gives a sense of the era, but at the same time, the warm atmosphere of the audience is conveyed. This is a rare live document of the Eagles' second visit to Japan, the final Tokyo performance, and the beginning of "The Long Run" in the finest sound quality.
